Taker's run as champion in 97 is vastly underrated. Taker is G.O.A.T. It sucks that he never had a memorable reign as WWF Champion. I feel like 97 is overlooked because Austin got so hot, plus all the Bret/Shawn drama. His 07 and 08 runs were supposed to be long ones but he got hurt both times. I loved is 09-10 run. He was having great matches and held the title for the longest he ever did, I think lol It says a lot about the man though as from 92-early 97 he was arguably the top babyface and didn't have a title reign for over 5 years. That character was so special. If it weren't for him, I wouldn't love wrestling near as mush as I do |

His look from the most popular period of wrestling ever and his basic just came out. It's a travesty. |

I find it fascinating that every singles championship that Bulldog held, his reign was ended by Shawn Michaels. The story of how HBK convinced Bulldog to drop the European title at One Night Only was pretty sad, considering he dedicated the match to his sister, who had cancer at the time.
