I find it fascinating that every singles championship that Bulldog held, his reign was ended by Shawn Michaels. The story of how HBK convinced Bulldog to drop the European title at One Night Only was pretty sad, considering he dedicated the match to his sister, who had cancer at the time. howd he convince him to drop it? |

If I remember correctly, Shawn said that him beating Bulldog in his home country via shenanigans would get him massive heat, which was true. When Shawn won, fans threw trash in the ring, it was crazy. The match was  ing great, though. |

I've read he accepted the WHC win because apparently Vince and Triple H wanted it, or so I've read. He dropped it a month later so I think it was Vince and co saying thank you for showing that you're still on another level than the rest |

Both are believable I think. I wish he had had a longer run though. He came back and was wrestling like he never left. That man had talent |
