A lot actually, there's so much you can tell by a fed from its name, right before even watching it. Are you getting something original or generic? Is the name powerful, etc etc.
I have a name I'm leaning towards, millennium pro, by am open to suggestions.
On a sidenote, how did you guys come up with names, and what do hey mean to you?

Always thought it'd be pretty cool and unusual to have a number in the fed name. I took the 'World Wide Wrestling' from the WWWF and 'Association' from AWA and because there are 3 'Ws', I created the name W3A. I like it mainly because it stands out against some other feds in terms of name. Prior to that, some other options I had in mind were 3xWA and FPW (for Fury Pro Wrestling).
Millennium Pro is a badass name dude, I really like it!

Millienian Pro sounds cool. I always dislike feds with generic names. It makes a fed way better off the bat if it has a badass name.
My fed is GWV. GWV stands for Global Wrestling Vanguard. Vanguard is basically the forefront to the future so I thought it was good for the future of a fed which is unique for a fed name.

Mine is CHIMU Pro, which comes from a rough translation of the Japanese word for "team". I also love CHIKARA Pro, so wanted something similar.
My old fed, Ring of Poison, came from the Jakks play set of the same name, plus I love ROH so I thought it was pretty cool.

This was actually a strong debate of mine when switching to my new YouTube Fed.
Keeping AWE (Awesome Wrestling Entertainment) and doing a purchase storyline was simultaneously interesting, but low-hanging fruit.
So I chose a new company name. Wrestling Impact Live! New brand. Fresh slate.
That said, I always try to go with -- intense -- names for my company, for my PPVs. Why? It's all part of the experience, to me.
I want people to appreciate the story, and the quality, but most of all I enjoy knowing that I can (and have) built a fanbase that wants MY product. Any small bit I can do to intensify that enjoyment for them? The better. The devil's in the details, right down to the names you use, the lighting, the camera quality. It's all used to build something entertaining.

WFW was my fed from 2007 when I was a kid so I'm kind of honouring it by doing the shows. It's simple, easy and you know straight away it's a wrestling fed.

I ran over a few names with my mate, but for me it was all about naming it as something that made it stand out. The name, as well as my choice to never refer to my name in initials, is a bit of a play on the untraditional schedule in which I planned and eventually wound up sticking to. Kinda more brand sounding, less traditional wrestling sounding. Lucha Underground inspired me too.

AWL has always held a place in my heart as it was the name I came up with in 2007. I was 5 years old. Now this year it's going to be my first pic fed. Been practicing a lot of posing over the past few months so hopefully it goes well. But i have a whole thread started for that so in guess just check that for updates. btw it stands for Apexs Wrestling League. Can't even remember how I came up with the ne though.
