I got one with a vest from the classifieds. Im over re-releases. Horsemen went to half price and still didnt move, DM Taker went to $10 and still didnt move.
People are too tight to pay aftermarket inflation AND less than half price...what do you want? Same thing with ASR. Heard people wanted it sooo bad, then it comes, "too big, too expensive..."

Unfortunately I was just getting in at that time. I bought so many in the beginning and just missed him. Have that non buyers remorse thing going. Gotta fix it. lol I do feel your pain to an extent, lol I'm not completely heartless ; ) Hahaha thanks. I know as soon as I pull the trigger on the RSC exclusive the HOF is coming out!

Horsemen went to half price for one day, in store only, with an app. The next day, they were right back up to the original price point, and as of this writing (and my last trip to a Target, which was about a week ago), they still are. Had they stayed at $25, I'd have bought 2 sets.

If you're referring to the time when they were on "sale" for $39.99, yeah I passed on that as well. $25 or less or no Horsemen. I got most of my nicer Mattel stuff on clearance from Target (EG Jericho and Piper come to mind immediately).

I'm sorry, but the ones who wait for everything to be put on clearance don't help with the line very much. You can obviosly do what you want tho so more power to you friend

Some people weren't collectors when it came out the first time around, and it is a bit too expensive for some people. True to a point, but imagine if they remade every figure because new collectors didn't get a chance to buy it, there's a secondary market for new collectors of anything Wasn't collecting figures at the time, and I tried my hardest to find one for a reasonable price but hot hell, he goes for a good amount of cash. No way I'm paying over 100 Dollars for a painted piece of plastic. I don't get why you people scoff at the idea of rereleases because it'll hurt the "Secondary Market" but at the same time get on people's cases for collecting for worth. Isn't collecting about having fun and buying the characters you love? Not the money you'll get from selling a figure?

Id love for everyone to get the figures they want whenever they find out about them for retail price. What I dont like is when People clamor for Arn Tully Rereleases and Barry Windhams and they clog up shelves for 8 months....Undertaker was $10 or so on Amazon for weeks. Target and Walmart and TRU match Amazon...theres still loads of him clogging shelf space.

Honestly, this wasn't even the version of the 4 Horsemen I wanted released, but let's face it, THAT version is never gonna happen, ever.

I wait for good deals and all, but im pretty sure i got the horsemen for around $25 black friday weekend. Thats not a bad price at all for 4 elites.

No, it's a great deal for you, but I think what he was saying is that holding out for great deals is what leads to the demise of these niche lines such as the Defining Moments series. If people want these lines to sustain, people need to buy at retail and not just wait for huge markdowns.

All this over a re-release, if you all really wanted it so bad why didn't you buy it the first time it came out? I wasn't collecting at the time, honestly People miss figs all the time. All exclusives are going to get re-released in some form or fashion. Either re-painted or with a different head. It's just what it is. I'm very interested in a Cactus Jack figure.

All this hoo-hah about it being a rerelease, it has different tights, different accessories, different packaging
So what, they can never release another Cactus again ever?
I haven't seen this much commotion over the new Wrestlemania Brock Elite

... and people who wait for things to be reduced before buying, more power to you. I don't do it personally as I have phobia of things selling out and I'm impatient
BUT... the prices we pay in the UK, none of this stuff is realistically worth the money. £18 for an Elite figure that's probably going to have either paint botches all over the shop, gammy feet, frozen joints, loose joints
I don't blame anyone who waits for a realistic price...

All this over a re-release, if you all really wanted it so bad why didn't you buy it the first time it came out? This is just a narrow-minded and foolish comment. You are aware there are collectors on here that haven't collected these figures since the beginning of time right? I'm sure there are new collectors established every day. Perhaps these people so excited for Cactus didn't collect when the first one was released. Why is that such a hard concept to understand and why does that bother some people on here so much? I've seen similar comments on these boards all the time and it's embarrassing.

if both figures were at retail i could see the arguement, but the first was an RSC exclusive which not everyone buys from.

I haven't seen this much commotion over the new Wrestlemania Brock Elite This. You really expect them to never make such an iconic character again? He really didnt have many attires and they made this one as different as possible (while not going wcw with him)
