As a collector, what is the one item you wish you could go back and unsell, gift or toss? For me, it is this little box I had where I saved all of the belts and accessories that I had from loose figure pickups. That thing was stocked. Alas, it was merely a USPS shipping box, so at some point, I believe it got thrown away accidentally. I hold out the hope that one day I will be cleaning out my garage and it will resurface.

Last August I sold off 3/4 of my WWE Mattel collection because I got out of wrestling. I'm back into wrestling now and I really regret it.

I had to move to a new town in 1991 when I was 15 and sold all of my toys that were not GI Joes in an auction.
Star Wars, Transformers Gen 1, Sectaurs, Centurians, MOTU, Starcom, MASK, and a bunch of others. I really miss all of them.

I sold off tons of Jakks figures when news of Mattel taking over broke. I was already growing a bit disinterested. But it's the GIANT box of accessories and weapons that I really regret selling. The Mattel figs we have are great, but I can't do the same hardcore spots now :/

I regret selling my moc ses Punk figures. I got good money for them, but that was my favorite figure of all time. I guess i needed the cash at the time though.

Maaaan. Don't even get me started on the Star Wars thing. I sold 30 or so figures for $5 at a garage sale back in the early '80s. I remember my dad being like "Are you sure you want to do this?". Ten year old me was so sure it was a good deal. I don't know if my father was teaching me a lesson or if he was just clueless to the possible future value.

Wow, I was thinking of starting a thread asking this exact same question.
1) Various early Basic John Cena figures. I primarily collect Elite Cenas and I like his straightface scan but then his headscans started becoming more hideous. I couldve used the B1, Extreme Rules PPV Cenas I sold to do headswaps. I ended up having to buy more of those old basic Cenas just for the heads.
2) Lebron James Cavaliers jersey. I hated him when he pulled off that bitch move to go to Miami with Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh, but then he went back to Cleveland and I forgave him for that.
3) Kevin Garnett Timberwolves jersey. KG is my #2 favorite NBA player of all time but I had to sell his T-Wolves jersey to get the money to buy his Celtics jersey. He is back in Minnesota so obviously now, I wish I didnt sell it.

My biggest regret is leaving all of my figures behind at my mom's place when I moved out. After a couple of years, she knew I wasn't coming back for them and asked if she could get rid of them. I told her to go for it. I had wrestling figures, all sorts of McFarlane figures like Movie Maniacs and Spawn. I still cringe when I see them at collectible shops now.

My first edition issues of Cry For Dawn, signed by both Joe Monks & Joe Linsner. I sold them to buy my then girlfriend a collection of Snow Babies.

The only things I've ever regretted selling were some old video games.
I've only ever sold 4 moc figures off and I've not missed them plus I made good money off them. (Legends Eddie, legends mr perfect, e16 diesel, and legends Akeem)

My N64. I want that sucker and the 55 games I had back in my life. This & my super Nintendo. I had a NES/SNES dual machine, but had a falling out with someone & it wasn't worth going to his house to get it.

I had a NES/SNES dual machine, but had a falling out with someone & it wasn't worth going to his house to get it. I had a Super Nintendo and had all the best games for it, I had around 30 games. My mom ended up selling everything for $20 bucks at a garage sale. >.<
