Not gonna lie, I teared up when I found out. Bowie's been a huge influence to me over the years. Also, so close to Lemmy too, it's a double hit blow.

Still reeling over Lemmy.....now this. Where to begin? My roundtable of musical influence is comprised of Alice Cooper, Iggy Pop, Lou Reed, Nick Cave, Frank Zappa, and Mr Bowie. Bowies influence CANNOT be understated. He is every bit as responsible for theatrical and forward thinking visions of musical reality as anyone is saying today. Much like in the wake of Lemmys passing, every tribute you'll see in the next few days is 100% genuine and accurate. Thank you for the nearly limitless volume of excellent songs. Thanks for providing me with a soundtrack to my own life, and thanks for the inspiring all the acts that followed their own dreams because they saw you or heard you perform. This world will miss you terribly......but your next destination will be blown away by your arrival. R.I.P. David Bowie

Man, in the span of a little more than a month, the music world, has taken some blows. First Scott Weiland, then Lemmy, then going outside of rock with Natalie Cole, and now Bowie. In a short time, the world has begun to sound a little less good.

Somewhere in the cosmos Bowie and Freddie Mercury are singing Under Pressure with Lemmy play guitar.
I still can't believe he's gone. And Lazarus being his last music video. You could tell he knew his time was coming to an end in the video but that he wasn't going without putting up a fight.

Very sad news for sure. Bowie was a legend in every aspect. Sure his music was legendary, but for me, I will forever remember him as Jareth the Goblin King from Labyrinth.
I watched it yesterday with my girlfriend as a tribute to him.
R.I.P.

Good to see Screen Junkies honour him days removed by way of an Honest Trailer.
I love this film, no matter how naff it may be...this and Dark Crystal enthralled me as a kid.
