my only issue with the QC of the product really is now around scale - or lack of attention to scale it seems. One of the biggest selling points for me with Mattel, and what prevented me from buying thunder thigh RA figures - was scale. And now it seems that's out the window with figures either too tall or too short. As much as i like the scale being right if its close or not too bad i don't mind it as much. I just like good quality and nice stuff.

[/quote] Haha, there should be a topic dedicated to pictures like this. Everyone go snap pictures of all the awful product on the pegs and report back.

And this is why Bill left this place Yep, it's easier to have pages of complaints. Remember that "Mattel botch" thread? Lol As the buyers we do have the right to complain but trust me their QC is pretty good compared to other toy lines and The best thing is that Mattels customer service is the best Customer service you could ever ask for so if your figure breaks, they're quick to make it up to you.

Exactly. If it was such a huge issue as some posters make it out to be, mattel would be aware and things would change. Everyone needs to stop trying to find an issue with everything

It's ridiculous to say don't complain, just complain properly and to the right people

Expect QC to get worse before it gets better and expect retail prices to go up. Mattel needs to show higher profits from year to year to make money for shareholders.

I've drastically cut back on collecting because of it. I'll buy a few upcoming figures when they hit shelves, but for the most part I'm done. The last straw for me was when I bought Sid off Amazon and as soon as I turned his hand after taking him out of the box it snapped right off. Inexcusable, and I refuse to spend $20+ for faulty products.

I recently found a WM Heritage Brie with no paint under her chest (boobs lmao). It was kinda strange. Also, I was kinda surprised when the two Naomi's I found didn't have any problems. I would've thought that maybe because of the complex pattern, the paint would be off and bad, but nope. It was perfect.

haha. and why would you say that you won't see it in canada. the only way you won't see it is if you don't go look for it. we've been getting some of the best distribution for quite awhile I should have been more specific, Southern Ontario, Niagara Region... they're going to ding you again when they deliver it another 25-30 bucks i bet in duties and customs fees. I've yet to not get nailed again when ordering from rsc. that figure is going to cost you a mint.

I know it took me three stores and six British Bulldogs to find one without messed up paint or black smudges on his skin. And that's just the front! Haven't opened him yet, so hopefully the back is good
Not that I want her but I've seen about four Naomi's and her checkerboard pattern has been smudged on every single one.
I have found myself passing in more and more figures due to paint apps lately. If I find them again good, if I don't I'll eventually pick a good one up
I really hope they got their shlt together with E41 Balor, or it could be a nightmare finding a good one

I got the new Basic 58 Undertaker last week. The feet are like, curved inwards? Thus, he can't stand up This comes a week after getting Umaga and being unable to stand him up
But you know, I'll stop looking for problems

I wonder how bad it has to get before WWE steps in? You wouldn't think they'd want it to bring their brand down

Or if there's no store in your area that has it anyway you're screwed. They don't actually replace the specific figure do they?

With the thousands and thousand of figures They release, the screw up you all see are not a huge issue to them. A kid wont care if theres a white speck out of place on bray wyatt or what not.
