I have thought about stopping before as people think it's weird but then I can't stop as the figures are too good. I've found I've had to ignore what people think and say and do what I want. For now I have no interest in slowing down.

I am on this same boat at the moment. The WWE product itself is just not good at all. I still get excited for the flashbacks in the line but other than that, I've completely lost interest in WWE all together. Thinking of selling a big chunk of my collection.
Once Mattel is done then I'm done with wrestling figures. I could dabble in whoever gets the license next, but there is no way I can afford rebuilding this collection with a new brand.
As for other lines, I like collecting VERY SELECT movie figs from NECA and others (I think I have six total). I'd love for someone to make some boxers in 6/7-inch form (Ali, Foreman).
Yes for me on both points. I'm done when Mattel is done. And Yes! I'd love some boxing figures!

I only collect elites and Masters of the Universe Classics, once they are done, im out. Thats if they ever get done! I only collect different variations of attires from elites I like, i.e the big names like Austin etc.

Same goes for me here. I'll be done once Mattel is done
Since I only collect the Championship Title Belts, I was thinking about quitting once the logo change came. Then I bought the WWE Divas Championship Title Belt, the NXT Women’s Championship Title Belt, and 2 WWE World Tag Team Championship Title Belts, each with the new Network logo. Then the Big Network Belt came out and it didn’t have shiny VAC plates. I thought about quitting again, but somehow ended up with Elite 37 Brock Lesnar and Toys R Us Exclusive Elite WrestleMania 31 Seth Rollins during the Christmas season. All I need now are Elite 39 Intercontinental Championship Title Belt, Elite 40 United States Championship Title Belt, Elite 40 NXT Championship Title Belt, and Elite 41 ECW Championship Title Belt, and I’ll quit…

Well I REALLY appreciate all the feedback on this thread! After reading up and thinking it over, I'm just gonna continue with the collecting. I feel like I'm so close to being done. I don't know of course, time will tell. That being said, I ended buying my first WWE figures in almost a year TODAY! I was off work and wanted to do some hunting! It was fun. While I was only out a year, it doesn't seem like catching up on the Elites will be an issue. I stopped collecting after 33, but going around town today, I saw ALL but 5 figures from Elite 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, and 39. The ones I didn't see were E36 DDP, Stardust, and Dean Ambrose and then E38 Bradshaw & Reigns. I saw everyone else from E34-E39. That's not too shabby. I also decided that I'd wait to order some figures off Ringside to save on $$ and get a good deal. Of course, thinking outside the Elite line, the ones I'm now looking for are: TRU Exclusive Rollins & Cena, HOF3, and the Divas I missed out on. I'm hoping it won't take too long or too much $$ to get caught up. But I'm not buyin everything, just the ones I know I want. For those wondering, here's what I picked up today: E34 Paige E34 Barrett E34 Doink E35 Trips E37 Rollins E37 Stephanie E38 Faarooq E38 Bryan TRU WM30 Undertaker
Thanks again everyone for reading and your feedback!
My collecting all started with Star Wars. In the 90's I had a problem, but learned from that. I still value my vintage collection, and now only collect and hunt down cantina creatures. When my kids got into Wrestling, I was shocked at how boring the WWE has become, and Mattel's flashbacks line are great reminders to me of the glory years of wrestling when there were story lines and rivalries and wrestlers and managers who could work the mic. So as you can guess, I only collect elite flashbacks and HOF.

I never wanted to collect mattel figures After Jakks lost the license I had my cs displayed how I wanted etc
I literally bought 4 mattel figures, then 1 day they just multiplied and haven't stopped yet lol Every month I think, damn I spent a small fortune, I got to stop, even a little bit
But with so many characters, attires, ranges it's hard to even cut back cause things are to awesome lol
SDCC 2019 - Mattel wwe figure reveals! (Preview day!)
I have because I had started picking up Star Wars black figures. But they aren't released as frequently as wwe and there a smaller number usually like 4 per set . I have been being selective of what I buy since I have limited shelf space and I'm tired of seeing doubles and doubles of guys.
I'm sticking to elites only and depending on who it is. do I really need a 123kid figure? I don't think so
I ran out of room initially so I ended up selling a big chunk of my collection. My main reason for "getting out" is the fact that they're not getting any cheaper, and I cringe when I realize how much I've spent on my collection. Same reason I got out of collecting Pokemon cards.
