Mainly elites but bought basics of only my top likes. I only collect superstars of when I was growing up and wrestling was actually cool lol. I'm talking about the "new generation" era through the "ruthless aggression" era. The "attitude" era was like the cream filling in Oreos THE BEST, lol it was also the best time to be a fan. My collection consists mainly of these superstars. The only superstars I collect after those 3 eras are superstars which I believe were/are amazing all around like CM Punk, Seth Rollins and I may get into Balor. So that'll save me some money lol.
But like I said, mainly elites and if I am a huge fan of a particular Superstar I'll even get the basics

I collect both. There are some basics I like better than their elite counterparts.

Started out elites only. Then went to basics only. But, there were some elites I just had to own, so I bought basics with a few elites. Currently, I'm replacing all my basics with elites.

I mostly buy Elites... I do but Basics (and Battlepacks) of figures that haven't had Elite figures too though (eg. Divas, Neville, The Ascension etc).

Elite only for me. There are a few basics that I do like and might eventually get but for the time being only elites. When Mattel first started I collected both but as the prices went up I decided on the elites.

I Only Buy elite Style For Mattel , Meaning Defining Moments The legends Packs and Exclusives ect.
I at one Point Had A Collection of Non Jakks Figures Mostly Toybiz TNA and WCW with customs i still get pm's asking if i have it , years after it was unfortunately sold off during a crunch time eat or keep stuff situation after my parents lost our home.
i do miss that collection ( Head Drifts Into My Own Toy Land ) sighs for great memories lol
