Any ideas as to why Mattel insists on putting painted hands on their suited figures?

Probably so they can mold the entire arms in all one color.

Probably so they can mold the entire arms in all one color. But they wouldn't mold the hand at the same time, they're all separate pieces. You'd mold the shoulder, bicep, joint piece, forearm, wrist, and hand pieces separate from each other. Or else it'd be one solid piece?

But they can use the same material in all the pieces and don't have to spend more to switch dye colors. But they use pigment for the head, so I really don't know.

Same could be said for a regular arm with no tattoos or wrist tape (razor)

The weird part is that the wrist piece is molded in flesh tone.

I hate how thes do this. It's stupid and it makes the hands look shiny and unnatural. Or they just spend the last 20 minutes washing their hands lol. The stupid part is, is that they mold the wrist piece in flesh. Why don't they just mold the hand in flesh? It's stupid IMO.

Makes zero sense. Seems like painting them would cost more, but it has to be cheaper for them somehow or they would just stick normal hands in there.

I have no idea but it's annoying... Maybe they just use leftover parts they have in a bin no matter the color and paint over it. Idk

It really does suck. I swapped the hhh bp32 hands, but the peg got stuck, so I had to superglue the new non painted hands.
Pretty sure the suited figs have a larger hole at the wrist than the average fig (due to the sculpting of the sleeve needing more room).

Doesn't matter to me really, I don't even notice it unless I look at it really close.
