That's just plain awkward. thats actually pretty funny, the guy shouldntve asked for an auto at that time, but it's still funny. Oh, it definitely was both awkward and funny. If it was a kid, I would have just shrugged it off and I'm sure Bubba would have too...but it was a grown ass man. I'm not usually dumbstruck by events, but I heard that and I'm standing there wondering "is this actually happening?" I can't for the life of me imagine a more inopportune time to do something like that.

Not an actual meeting, but my stepson had an assignment in school to write a letter to someone they admired. He wrote a letter to Goldberg and his teacher sent it to the address he has for fan mail. My stepson didnt ask for an autograph and wasnt aware the teacher would be sending the letter to him. Well, about a month letter he got an autographed 8x10 in the mail. Totally made his day. I thought that was very, very nice of him.
As for an actual meeting, i met Cesaro and Rollins after an ROH show about 6 years ago. Both were very nice. I think it all depends on when, where, and your manners when meeting a celebrity. I'll never understand the people that wait at hotels or interrupt someone's meal for an autograph.

Yeah, I've heard Goldberg loves his fans.

Not sure if SRS or not. Haha but still yeah, I was really surprised. One day he was my best friend the other day....."Yeah hey kid.....hows it going....?" Almost like GTFO of here. I've heard it a lot. There are even fans/wrestlers/promoters he has actually stayed with to save money on hotels etc and then acted like he didn't know them or didn't want to talk to them the next time he was in the town. He was maybe always a kind of weird/dickish guy and just had the persona of being nice that he played up to at times, but I think it got a lot worse as he got older and the effects of the concussions really kicked in. I met Foley in 2001 for a book signing and he was so incredibly nice and funny...then I met him after a comedy show 2 years ago and he would barely acknowledge the fans. So, I definitely can relate to your experiences.

Maybe realistically there are 2 faces of Foley and it's the luck of the draw whether you meet the nice face lol.

Nicest: Bayley Melina Dusty
Rudest: Tommy Dreamer
I want to preface this by saying that I've never had a "bad" experience. Even the Dreamer experience I still tell to friends and share a laugh but I'll admit I was taken aback.
Bayley was by far the best. Spent time, shared conversation and a laugh with my wife and I about our baby's upcoming birth and her name (btw...Sabrina BAYLEY was born December 26th...). Great champion. Great role model. Better person. I was also pleasantly surprised when I met Melina at the height of her popularity at a meet and greet. She could not have been better with the fans.
I will give Tommy this, he came out and signed for everyone that wanted autographs after a pissy house show in Fort Myers, Florida. However, I did not appreciate the verbal smack I was given when allowing a small child of 6 (who I did not know) to use my pen so he could get his program signed. Tommy hit me with "IF THEY WANT TO GET **** SIGNED THEY GOTTA BRING THEIR OWN ****."
That's all well and good...but he's 6. I roll my eyes everytime I hear him on a podcast touting how he always gives fans autographs etc. when he sees them. Yes, that may be true...with a caveat in my case I guess.

I've had many more NICE experiences than NASTY.... most of the time, the wrestlers are great! Nicest: Hacksaw Jim Duggan, by far.... he's just been so welcoming, every time I've met him. Genuinely nice guy! "Rowdy" Roddy Piper was a very close second.... he was a close-talker.... got right in your face, and listened to you, and thought about what you said before replying. He had a definite "customer-service" approach to autograph signings.... he wanted everyone to walk away happy. Note: He was an hour late, though.... all is forgiven. Surprise: I was totally expecting Hulk Hogan to be the "egomaniac" jerk.... nothing could be further from the truth. Hogan was very nice! Friendly, responsive.... chatted with me for a moment - said I was from the "Old School, Brother".... EC3 is also one of my favorite meets..... he always writes a short message on his autographs: I had a GREAT chat with Scott Hall late last year.... he told me how when he was on the cover of the WWE Magazine I was having him sign - he would go to the 711's he stopped at on the road & spread them all across the magazine rack..... he was so proud of that magazine! APA were awesome, as well.... we got them to pose with a jumbo deck of cards.... they got "mad" because we gave them crappy hands.... Yea, we did it on purpose, just to get a reaction.... The Nastiest? Well, he actually wasn't that nice.... Ted Dibiase wasn't really that nice, either... even though it was a "free" signing - he said he'd need to charge me $20 to sign an action figure. I said sure, but I whispered in his ear..... "I should have known that The Million Dollar Man would find a way to get my money....." Tommy Dreamer has also been pretty rude each time I've met him.... twice, I think.... But Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart was by far the nastiest wrestler I've ever met.... I was young & it was my first time going to an indy show.... I didn't know how the whole process worked & he pretty much told me to "get lost"...... almost scarred me for life. Glad I decided to try again!

Can't say I've ever had a bad experience. Tommy Dreamer was kind of out of it but I can imagine the jet lag was killing him so I spent $60 for a pic, autograph and shirt anyway. Al Snow was great to be around. I walked up to him and said "Happy Birthday Al!" He said "It's not my birthday", the Headbangers were sitting next to him and they yelled "IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY?!" And sang Happy Birthday while he flipped them off. Best experience ever. Robbie E and Zema Ion were awesome. I talked about Trent with Curt Hawkins which was awesome. Bought his "When Curt Met Trent" DVD, which was signed by both of them. I like Trent. Scotty 2 Hotty was one of my favorites too, because I was shaking when I met him. I watched him when I was 9 and now there he was, standing right there. Kind of a surreal feeling. Chyna was great too, and she called me sweetheart. Hard to focus with her because you're like... thinking about... other things... Justin Gabriel and I talked about his figures. He didn't like his first figures head. Hornswoggle took the time to take a pic with me, didn't sign autographs (probably because he wasn't supposed to be at a Global Force Wrestling event) Magnus was ok. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson were great. They brought the NJPW Tag titles with them (didn't let people pose with them) but I got to touch it so that was cool. Saw Tyler Breeze and Xavier Woods at the Minneapolis airport. What was even scarier was that I was listening to Tyler's theme song when I saw him. I've met Scotty 2 hotty many times I live 20 minutes from where he grew up . Very nice guy never a bad experience Met Kane and Booker t and a few others backstage when I was loading trucks at a live event in new york Kane seemed nice but quiet I assume he was just exhausted Booker t ignored every one and was just trying to spit game at the divas can't blame him.

Thanks to a WrestleMania 31 I've met quite a lot of wrestlers the nice ones were Adam Rose - I wore a Rusev shorts and some pretty Amazing pink floral shorts he loved the shorts and wasn't a fan of the tee and joked about it I thought he was hilarious my mates went up he said is that your mate they go yeah he goes tell him to make some better choices and due to that banter Adam Rose is a top lad. Kevin Owens - My mate dressed like him the WWE Officials saw this we have some recorded footage somewhere of him ripping it out of Sami Zayn and its on the start of the NXT Axxess episode I'll add it in a bit but the WWE officials let him go up and meet kevin straight away he wore a Disney plaster also and floral shorts and Kevin Owens just ripped it out of him and it was so funny we went up and asked him about it he was so cool about it. Chris Jericho - Top lad met him talked to him about steel panther I walked off he called me back to talk to me more weird to see all the dislike. Buff Bagwell - he let us all wear his hat and even let me and my mate (Kevin Owens dude) have a shirtless pic with him disgusting picture but funny as hell! Worst Boogeyman - by far I got all the superstars to sign the flag of California thought it was a cool idea I put it down and asked him to sign it he had a strop about it I asked for a pic he said quickly just took a selfie my mates went up he treated them like royalty let the hold the clock and staff he must hate ginger people.... Other nice Hacksaw, Ivory, Hardy Boyz, Kurt Angle, Seth Rollins Surprising Zack Ryder he wasn't charismatic and wanted to buy a MITB Briefcase replica Here's my mate confronting Sami Zayn www.facebook.com/MattTheGingerOne/videos/10152666634421744/

Everyone I've ever met was really nice towards me. Jeff Hardy - Was quiet, but very, very pleasant. I wish I could've had more time to talk with him, but I was so starstruck that I didn't even know what to say. Mickie James - Total sweetheart, she even complimented me! Shawn Michaels - Was super nice and was in great spirits. I silently marked out upon seeing him up close and in person. Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns - All were super chill and nice. I'd actually given them pictures that I'd drawn for them and they all were impressed. Dean was super appreciative, lol. Meeting the Shield was my favorite signing by far. It took all I had in me not to act like a nervous wreck around them. I also vaguely remember going to an Undertaker signing and a Kane one, but I was still in a stroller at the time, so I don't even remember if they were nice or not. My folks would know more than me, lol. Yeah Jeff was cool but very quiet and not talkative but not rude when I met him. I was also too starstruck to make conversation.

Forgot to mention Roman. Nice dude. I just watched the WWE 24 episode on him. Seems really down to earth.
