Out of all the wrestlers you have met either at a Hotel or autograph signing who were the nicest and who were nasty?
Here's mine. Nice Kane. John Cena. Mick Foley. Kurt Angle.
Nasty. Alberto Del Rio. Mark Henry. Stacey Keibler. Shawn Michaels.
The nicest was by far Kane. I met him in 2005 when I was a kid and he spent so much time with fans and posed for photos and made sure he left no one out. Complete gentleman.
The nastiest was Alberto Del Rio. Met him at a Toys R Us signing 2 years ago and it was horrible. He was pure ignorant and treated the fans like dirt. He didn't talk to anyone and wore a baseball cap and had it's front down so you couldn't see his face. Also every time he shook someone's hand he washed his hands with hand gel which I thought was very rude. I know the manager of my local Toys R Us and he told me that he was rude to the staff and it was their worst experience with a wrestler.
Have any of you guys had good or bad experiences?

Worst hands down are Booker T and Alex Riley.
Met them at Axxess in San Jose and they both acted like pricks who didn't want to be there.
The best are The Wyatt Family and Paige.
Also had a really good experience with Jerry Lawler.

Clearly the nastiest wrestlers ever are the Nasty Boys. It even says it in their name.... "Nasty" Boys.

I've only really met two.
Roddy Piper who was super nice. He pulled me in for a photo and told me I looked good. I thanked him, and he thanked me. He was very nice and I'm so glad I got to meet him before he passed.
Matt Striker was a few months later. He was the nicest guy. We talked for ten minutes or so. About his commentary, Taker's streak, & what Triple H is really like. The thing that really impressed me about him is, I didn't have to pay to met him. We just "BS'ed" like old buddies. Super nice, but very very weak handshake.

He said "Absolutely not" and said he was one of the nicest most caring people he's ever met. And he has nothing but good things to say about him. Jimmy Korderas recently wrote an article on Wrestlezone saying the same thing.

People tend to paint him as the nasty villain constantly so it's good to hear that someone who has worked with him had something nice to say.

Nicest:
Booker T - was nice to everyone, shook everyone's hand, and laughed when he brought up the Bagwell match on Raw being his worst ever, and I told him I try to mentally block any memories of the Invasion angle.
DDP - hands down the nicest I ever met. Engaged with everyone, and took the time to have a 5 minute or so convo with me about how crazy it was for the WCW guys during the Monday Night War.
Vince McMahon - seemed genuinely happy to everyone who came up to him, and was amazed we knew who Arnold Skaalund was. also bought me a beer.
Gerald Briscoe - had fun with him, and was happy to sign an autograph for me. Of course, he was also completely blitzed, and was attempting to get a wooden Indian statue to drink a beer at the time.
Yamaguchi-San - anyone not watching during the Attitude Era will have no idea who he is. There were 5 of us left around 3:00 AM at the hotel bar, well past last call - myself, my friend Corey, 2 other fans we didn't know, and Yamaguchi. He insisted on buying us round after round of Tequila shots. Jesus Christ, I hate Tequila, but I certainly wasn't going to say no!!
Nasty:
Mick Foley - met him this year, and wouldn't talk, acknowledge, or look at anyone. Just seemed miserable to be there.
Michael Cole - seemed bothered by an autograph request. Only had time for the good looking women in the bar.
In-Between:
Ted DiBiase - decent enough. Didn't talk much, but smiled and shook hands.
Steve Austin - really had nothing to say, just signed out pictures and left.
Jerry Lawler - again, seemed happy to sign some autographs, but didn't say anything.

Anyone met Virgil? Apparently he's a self centered douche My friend Bobby did. He said Virgil set up his infamous table at the Schuykill Mall, about 20 minutes or so from here. Bobby said he knew he was screwed as soon as Virgil saw him, as Bobby was wearing a Hogan shirt, I think it was. Anyway, he said Virgil followed him and his friends around for almost 20 minutes, insisting that he needed to have one of Virgil's autographed pictures.

Nicest would be either Madison Rayne or Kurt Angle.
Worst was probably Jericho ( it was my fault) of Mickie James. Madison was present for a Direct Auto event to promote a TNA House show here around August 2010. She found out my daughter was namrd Madison and begged to hold her. She was the type who made you realize they are people too.
Kurt Angle was at a Books A Million in either 99 or 2000 and was the Champion at the time. When he found out my Mom was from Pittsburgh, they chatted for like 45 minutes, and told me to stick around after the signing was over. Why? Because he let me gokd the freakin WWF World Title. Such a class act.
With Jericho, It was a bad moment, mainly because I... No, my Mom stopped him at an Atlanta airport in 2001. I said "Look, its Chris Jericho!!" And of course my Mom yelled " Hey Chris, huge fan here, take a sec and sign something for my son please." Now, he was mid sprint to catch a flight and he was running from the bar. Now, either he was lit, in a hurry, or all of the above and didn't want to deal with fans. He signed a napkin for me, and ran off with a "Psshhhhh". I guess I made that monent crapthough,
Mickie James though. Total bitch. Wouldn't say hello, smile, or wave at her autograph table. Yea, it was a TNA house show table, and the signings were free, but atleast make the paying fans feel welcomed. I went to ask her about her time with Trish Stratud and her reply was "Next!".... Like it was some MTV slutty game show.

Like one of the above posters said, I've had great encounters with wrestlers, because I'm too shy to be a pain in the butt. A few meets that stand out...
RVD Johnny Grunge Barry Horowitz Francine (ECW) Kurt Angle Jimmy Hart Hillbilly Jim Candice Michelle
