44 years old. That's just scary. Seeing wrestlers die as young as him is so depressing, especially to someone who plans on wrestling in the future. Never seen him wrestle, but, rest in peace.

Axl had a great mind for the business, and was never given a proper chance at showing what he could really do. But also, he had a drug addiction for many, many years which probably was the reason why he wasn't given said chance. But it still sucks when someone passes away.

If Axl Rotten was 44, then he was way younger than I thought he was. I remember first seeing him in Global Wrestling Federation back in 1991-92. RIP.

I never saw him wrestle in ECW as I didn't watch it as a kid. I remember his appearances in WWE back in 2005.
I thought he was in his 50's, he looked much older than 44. I listened to him a while back on Jericho's podcast, he had been in poor health for a while. RIP.
