Josh Norman is now a free agent. The Panthers rescinded their franchise tag. Somebody is going to over pay for him. I don't understand how this is allowed. The player gets screwed over so late in free agency to all of a sudden be free. The player cannot prevent the team from franchising him. He refused to sign franchise tender. If he had signed it, they couldn't have done it.

If they did do all this as a attempt to make Bradford play better it was a awful costly one, not only do they not have a 3rd or 4th round pick in this draft, but they won't have a 1st rounder next year or a 2nd rounder the year after. Plus they will have to deal with the dynamic of Bradford vs Goff/Wentz until they finally have their decision on who is gonna be "the guy". So it's probably gonna get alot worse before it gets better. However I will laugh my ass off if everyone does all this speculation about "who's better for the Eagles Wentz or Goff" only to have them trade up to pick Laremy Tunsil or someone like that. It's the Eagles. Hell if anyone knows. Smart of Cleveland to trade the pick away. It lets Griffin get some confidence that they're behind him, something Cleveland hasn't really done for a while QB wise. Now just get people in front of him, and we'll talk. That's a oxymoron, there are no such things as "smart moves" when it comes to Cleveland sports lol. But in all seriousness I'm fully expecting either a WR or a OL to be taken with the 8th pick and whichever isn't addressed there will be addressed at 32, sure we need more defensive players but that can be addressed later. The Browns NEED to rebuild the OL and have someone for RGIII to throw to since Josh Gordon is currently living in the Dumb and Dumber fun house fantasyland with Money Manziel. I REALLY wish the Browns could've gotten Joey Bosa, I was rooting for us to take him since the beginning of last year and never really wanted another QB. But as long as he doesn't go to the Ravens I won't be heartbroken. So I'm rooting for Tunsil at 8 Fuller, Treadwell or Coleman at 32 and Braxton Miller at 65 they all address big needs and getting Miller a WR/RB wouldn't hurt considering are backfield is gonna get HAMMERED this season.

He wanted to be the highest paid CB in the league and the Panthers only wanted to pay him X amount since they invest their money in their O adn D lines.

Watching these past drafts from the last 5 years on NFL Network is a ripping good time. "This Organization needs Trent Richardson".

Well that's not entirely true, Ryan Leaf was.

Leaf's expectations were higher but Russell had more raw talent coming out of college.

So Josh Norman is a Redskin, he getting payed way to much in my opinion after only maybe 2 years of being called a "star level" cornerback but if it works out good for him and the 'Skins. If not, he can be relegated to be being called a product of a defense.

If the redskins are so desperate they should of called Cromartie. Not the best but not the worst and probably comes cheap.

Yep, Norman showed flashes while on the Panthers and got called a "star" because of how good the defense was. He has the opportunity in Washington to show, A. He really is a star level corner and really was a star in a group of them on the Panthers D. or B. He's gonna show his flaws being that he's *arguably the best player on the defense.
