Bryant facing a season long suspension for failing yet another pot test.
Hey Jets, you want another one of our promising WRs who can't stay off the self medication?
That leaves us with Brown and Heyward-Bey as our starting guys. One of these things is not like the other. Guess the Steelers will have to draft one because I doubt they test the FA wire after what happened last time.
Sucks. Because we have big holes to fill, namely CB and LT with Beachum leaving. But a 3rd round receiver I guess works. Would rather they solidify a replacement for Harrison for next season since the Jarvis Jones experiment failed. But I don't want them to take another LB first round, especially since we're getting to that time in Ben's career where we need to start thinking about his successor because him and Vick will go out sooner than later and Jones is not the future. Wouldn't mind the Steelers trying to make a deal with the Pats for Jimmy if they don't want to draft, but he's already got a few seasons under his belt and I would think the Steelers would want another right out of college guy like they had with Slash and Ben.
Guess we'll see.

Kinda surprised to hear about Martavis Bryant. Thought he would stay clean.

Kinda surprised to hear about Martavis Bryant. Thought he would stay clean. This was the big issue he had coming out of college, he was a risk like Holmes was. Shame he couldn't learn his lesson. He'll be released. Rinse and repeat cycle for the Steelers to find a number 2 WR begins anew. Ugh.

Still laugh at myself for giving the Jets nuclear heat after the Browns gave their pick to the Jets so they could take him. I swore that "The Sanchize" would save Cleveland Sanchez wasn't terrible for the Jets. Two afc championship games and a chance at the super bowl if the defense didn't fall apart in both games. He won a fair share. The media of NY and the GM failed him taking away all his targets. Throwing to the guys he had after 2010 wasn't helping anyone win a game. Kind of wish the Jets would of signed RG3. Chan gailey has worked wonders with qbs and made them look good. Would of liked to see him compete for the job

But if you think about what I said about him being the "savior" it wouldn't have worked, his flaws would've been exposed way earlier.

Denver reached out to Ryan Fitzpatrick but they have no intention of giving him his desired salary. If I were Denver I might just pay him whatever he wants, you need somebody competent on the roster in case Sanchize sh*ts the bed this season which is a strong possibility. Unless their plan is to wait till next year to find their true #1 QB of the foreseeable future and ride Sanchez this year.

Not top tier, but good. Doesn't deserve his asking price but he shouldn't backup Sanchez by any means.

The only thing Fitz has proven time and time again is that he's just one game with two picks away from being the same QB that couldn't lead any of the other teams he has started for to the Playoffs. He's basically Matt Cassel (minus all the money we gave him) but with a much better beard and sense of humor. I'm tired of teams in this league giving out crazy amounts of money for players that have very clearly shown who they are "when the lights are on bright".

Well the former doesn't apply to this question, but the latter does. What's Andy Dalton's excuse?

B.J. Raji is taking a "hiatus" from football this year. Which is good for me cause I don't want him on my D-line for another snap.

He is the AFC equivalent of Tony Romo, in my opinion. Great regular season at best, but very unreliable on a big stage.

The Raven secondary is getting a much needed boost with the signing of Eric Weddle.

Ohio has the Buckeyes to look at for their championship hopes anywhere in the state. Other than that...ehh...
