Daniel Bryan retiring is a big deal so it would be weird if Cody was interviewed as Stardust.
Goldust was even interviewed as Dustin on Raw is Owen. |

This is just a break in character to talk about the retirement of one of his best friends backstage. The more posts I see about Cody Rhodes coming back because of reasons the less I want to see it. I have yet to see one compelling reason for why they want Cody Rhodes over Stardust. It literally amounts to "I don't like the Stardust character and think for some horribly unknown reason, Son of Dusty would be more marketable"

I don't understand why people want Cody to go back to being bland and boring? Stardust is the first time in his career that he's ever been interesting.

Cody Rhodes is like Pizza. He's always good, even when he's plain, but he's so much better with Pepperoni and mushrooms.

He's interesting any time he has a weird gimmick/mask/voice/face paint etc. He's awful when he doesn't have that stuff though. |

Cody Rhodes the character has not returned. This is just Cody the real person giving his thoughts on the real Bryan Danielson retiring from wrestling. Just like the real Cody and the real Dustin ( not Goldust) presented the Dusty Rhodes trophy on NXT.
