If you were a wrestling fan during the Monday Night Wars, then you'll know exactly who these women are. They may not have been trained endlessly to wrestle in WCW, but keeping the crowds and viewers entertained before/during/after commercials with a dance routine was their prime role for some time. Granted, a lot of the girls in the Nitro Girls group aren't memorable, but some did have their fair share of fans. (Seriously, a select few had a major audience). I, for one, would be interested in collecting a few Nitro Girls but for now I wanna see how other people stand on the matter. I can see the want for a lot of WCW superstars lately and I wanna know if there any WCW fans, or fans from that era, who would be interested in collecting a few Nitro Girls? If you've forgotten any of the girls, here is a run-down on the main members/those most likely to get a figure: Kimberly Page (DDP's valet/ex-wife & Head Nitro Girl) Spice (Y'know, the hottie with the pixie-cut? Everyones fav?) Chae (The original asian sensation!) Fyre (The red-headed beauty with the bodybuilding figure) Tygress (Rey Mysterio's "girlfriend" and Filthy Animals member) Chameleon/Miss Jones (Managed Ernest "The Cat" Miller for half her career)

At first, I thought it would be kind of silly to make Nitro girls, but honestly, I could see it as an SDCC exclusive. Okay, so in the set you'd get; Monday Nitro stage w/ Nitro, Flair, Horsemen, nWo, Sting, and Luger themes(Steiners/Goldberg would be awesome too), flashing leds, Nitro commentary desk, and 5 somewhat similar looking Nitro girls(to avoid likeness issues) in a window box.
It'll probably never happen, but I would pay $100-$130 for that.

I loved WCW and I would not buy a single one of those.

I always say I'll buy everything wcw related.....
But I wouldn't even buy the nitro girls. There is a decent probability that I would buy a Kimberly if the figure turned out well.

Pass. They do need to make a Stacy Keibler though. (Not as a Nitro Girl though)

Thanks, but no thanks. They still have gals like Luna, Alundra Blyaze, Sable, Sherrie, Ivory,…. to get to before they even have thoughts of making any of these Nitro Girls. Besides they had no character and were more of cheerleaders or dancers and are almost forgotton from that era.

Which one did Shawn Michaels marry? Was it Sporty Spice?
They should make an entire Elite Series dedicated to the Nitro Girls so something new can warm the pegs of Walmarts everywhere.

For a limited run, sure, why not?

As one of the buggest advocates of female figures on these boards, let me say....
HELL NO!
So many other woman who actually wrestled, were involved in actual angles and were just flat out more memorable than ANY of the Nitro Girls.
Stacy Keibler deserves a figure, but due to her WWE run, not the WCW stuff.

Why don't they make the camera crew while they're at it?

In some respects, they paved the way for different types of women in the industry so they're just as deserving, and judging by the topic you made RE: more diva figures, you're in no place to draw the line of "memorable" over any female competitors name.

Why don't they make the camera crew while they're at it? Though that was intended as a troll, it's not a bad idea. I need a few crew members for scenes and shots that don't have an actual wrestlers headscan and over-muscular body

I love WCW, but lono.
Let's be blunt. The only Divas that have ever been worth a damn were Sable, Sunny, Chyna, Trish, Lita, and the Bellas. The rest are unimportant and will rot on the shelves. If they aren't on TV currently, people don't care about them. That's just how it is. Excluding managers like Liz of course.
Need I remind you that Micky James shelfwarmed so hard that Divas are shortpacked to this day.

Get your priorities straight.

Get your priorities straight. A well thought out and visually stimulating post about two women who made a huge impact recently that posed the question "What the hell does a woman have to do in this industry to get the same treatment as a guy who had a three year run, got fired for drugs and then died shortly thereafter?". I want all of those women, and before Laycool even, but so does everybody. Those names have been posted here millions of times since the JAKKS days. We all know they are Legends, but as time passes Laycool are going to be among those names and I was pointing that out. Tell me more about your Nitro Girls since my priorities are so f***ed.

Nitro Girls don't deserve figures, no ifs, ands or buts about it.

Stacy Keebler - hells yes. We need a Mattel figure of her Kimberly Page - maybe as part of a BP with DDP. The rest - no thanks (even though I would absolutely buy a Spice figure. She was the reason I didn't use the Nitro Girl segments as a piss break.)
