Drain You!
A No Remorse RP
“Hey Penny.”, Mary said, looking up from her laptop. “Can I play a song for you? I think you might know it.”
“Sure.”, Penny said, feeling that little skip behind her boobs that made her insides feel like a Belle and Sebastian song.
Penny turned back and saw Mary, waving her to the couch with a soft smile that felt like it had so much more underneath it.
Mary pulled off her earplugs and pressed down on the keyboard until the music came to a nice volume without getting too loud or scratchy.
“… This better not be Belle and Sebastian!”, Penny shot out, sitting next to Mary now.
“Don’t worry, Penpen.”, Mary grinned a little. “It’s not.”
But it did sound like them- well, or music that sounds like them; lot of which Penny really liked in a secret-but-also-not-so-secret way.
Like, Penny had her regular moods for this music- but it always takes her in such an awkward way that left her yearning for more and because of that, Penny decided that it was stupid.
“… Wait for it.”
Penny didn’t want to wait for anything- this whole thing was getting awkward and Penny was starting to regret even staying Mary’s for her trip back to Atlanta.
Why was it so hard to be around her without being a total mess inside? And not a bad kind of mess like she was doing something wrong- no, this was something that felt good and right and because of that it left Penny just wanting to run away and hide until it was all over.
Ugh- She’s better than this! What the hell is Mary doing to her?
A sudden chorus of electric guitars bubbled around the jangly, guitarish haze that was forming beneath the music.
Penny opened her mouth. “Mary?”
“Yeah?”
Penny couldn’t believe she was doing this: “I am so sorry, but can I kiss you?”
“What do you have to be sorry about?”
“Uhm.”, Penny scratched the back of her head. “I have this huge crush on you that I think is becoming a lot bigger.”
“Penny.”
“And you know, I know your situation and everything but I can’t take it. I just feel like I have to do something about it.”
“Penny?”
“Like, if you think about it. You and I…” Penny hissed a little, closing her eyes as she looked away. “I think we’d be amazing together! I think we’d be the best.”
“Penny.”, Mary spoke, taking her hand now as she got even close.
“What?”
“Kiss me already!”, Mary said, grabbing Penny by the collar of her hoodie as she pulled her close and met her lips with hers.
“… Wait- this is really happening?”, Penny said, pausing for a moment. “I’m really kissing you.”
Yep! This was actually happening. Penny was kissing Mary.
To say that her kiss felt good was an understatement: kissing Mary felt ing amazing. She was different from all the other girls that had come through Penny’s life. With them, Penny really didn’t care about what they thought if she made a move or not. She just went for it with a ‘ it’ to whatever consequence it brought.
Mary though… Penny liked her-liked her in a manner that teetered dangerously close to love that the kiss felt a lot better than it probably did.
And it didn’t help that she totally had Sixpence None The Richer’s “Kiss Me” playing in her head the whole time!
Penny pulled away from Mary’s kiss.
“What’s wrong?”
“This is gonna sound super stupid.”, Penny replied. “But I’m, like, really happy right now.”
“Awww, Penpen!” Mary got closer to Penny and dropped her head on her shoulder. “I feel the same way too.”
“Can we keep kissing?”
“Uhm, yeah?”
“Sweet!”
Penny looked down at Mary and gently placed her fingers over her chin, pulling her close as she closed her eyes and pressed her lips on hers. Their mouth opened slightly, accommodating each other slightly.
It was always a strange but awesome thing to kiss someone for the first time. In Penny’s experience, everyone had their own way of kissing and the first make-out was always about getting a feel of how the person kissed while accommodating it with your own.
Penny wrapped her arm around Mary and let herself fall back on the couch with her on top. Penny wrapped one leg around her, holding her even closer now as their hands started exploring each other.
… And then her phone rang.
“Are you going to get that?”
Penny let herself hang off the couch for a moment as she grabbed her phone and switched it to silent.
But her phone kept ringing.
Mary pulled away and grabbed Penny’s phone. “I think it might be important.”
“More important than this?!”, Penny shot back.
“Apparently.”, Mary replied, handing Penny the phone. “It’s Josh.”
“Ugh!”, Penny grunted, swiping the call open. “… JD, what’s up?”
“Where are you?”
“I’m in Atlanta, with Mary. Why?”
“Jesus Penny!”, Josh snapped.
“What’s up?”
“What’s up?”, Josh began. “You’re supposed to be in Philadelphia!”
“Oh, shit.”
“Glad it’s finally starting to register.”
“What do I do?”
“I don’t know, but unless you can get to Philly in forty-five minutes to make curtain you’re gonna have to no-show.”, Josh replied. “Again.”
“That’s not gonna happen!”, Penny shot back.
“Good luck.”
Josh closed the call and that was it.
Mary veered over Penny’s shoulder. “What’s wrong?”
“Apparently, I’m not supposed to be here.”, Penny replied. “, I thought it was the 28th and not tonight.”
“What’s gonna happen?”
“I didn’t want to do this.”, Penny said, reaching out for her backpack.
“Do, what?”
“Something incredibly trippy!”, Penny replied, hand buried deep into her backpack.
“What do you mean?”
Penny looked at Mary as she fished inside her backpack. “Well, there’s this thing I do. It’s sorta like an easy-pass to do crapI wanna do, but I haven’t been doing it lately.”
“Why not?”
“Because I’m worried it’ll make me a lot lazier than I am.”
“But if it was working for you, why’d you stop?”
“Good question…”, Penny said, her eyes raised to the corner as she finally found what was she was looking for.
It had been a long time since she used Portia (the Magick Pipe). About a year now to be exact since Celeste Cuddlepunk decided to make like a pixie and fly away to some other girl.
Penny held up the fully packed and loaded purple glass pipe in her hand and smiled. “This is Portia!”
“You’re getting high?”
“You bet your ass I am!”, Penny said.
“I don’t get it. How’s getting high getting you to Philadelphia?”
“Watch.”
With a snap of her fingers, Penny lit the pipe like she had a secret flint.
“Woah!”
Penny took a couple puffs to get the ember going and took a long, hearty pull. A gulf of smoke shotgunned into her mouth as it raced down her lungs, filling her senses with a magical dose of THC.
A marvelous beam of purple light began to surround Penny’s being like an aura; smoky, jagged, bright lights radiating through Penny’s body.
Mary ’d. “What’s going on?”
Penny took another toke, a longer one this time. She coughed out a puff as the smoky, vibrating aura became even more purple!
“… I have no words.”
Penny closed her eyes and pushed her legs off the couch and within moments, she was flying around Mary’s living room.
“How are you doing that?”
Penny floated. “You ever watch Sailor Moon?”
“Yeah, but it’s been such a long time.”
“But you remember that magic wand the talking cat gave her? The one that makes her transforms into Sailor Moon?”
“Uh, huh?”
“Well.”, Penny began, holding out her pipe. “It sorta works that way. Except when I get high from this pipe, it kinda gives me magical powers.”
“Kinda?”
Penny skipped the pipe into the pouch of her hoodie as she kicked her heels and fluttered down to Mary with an open hand.
“Wanna come?”
“Of course I do!”, Mary said, her eyes still popped out as she took Penny’s hand. “Wait!”
Mary grabbed the inhaler from her side-table. “Ready.”
Gently, Penny pulled Mary into her arms as she kicked her feet again. The new lovers flew out the open window in her living room.
Hand-in-hand, Penny and Mary flew through the small, but ever growing, hipster area of Atlanta. Record stores, coffee shops, and cute little artisan boutiques and restaurants that offered the most random things ever moved beneath their feet as Penny soared higher.
“Holy shit!”, Mary shot out, clutching her inhaler tight.
They reached the border between Earth and heaven. Clouds surrounded them as the stars and the moon above seemed a lot closer than it used to be.
“… I can show you the WFWF!”, Penny began, as the familiar chorus of ivories accompanied her.
And for the second time that evening, Mary ’d.
“… Twisted, violent and offensive.”, Penny continued. “Tell me cutie, now when did you last see a girl like me?”
“I can break Brandon’s spine.”, Penny sang. “Take him suplex-by-suplex; T-bones, gutwrench and German’s, on a painful, bumpy ride!”
“To No Remorse!”, Penny sang, holding out her arm as they raced through the clouds. “It’s on the way to pay-per-view! A rookie’s in… For an ass kicking.”
Penny kissed Mary on the cheek as a symphony helped her complete her chorus. “Don’t worry, you’re not tripping!”.
Mary looked over at Penny. There was an obvious look of concern across her face, but it didn’t seem like she minded the uncertainty.
Penny got the feeling she liked it, so she nodded at Mary to follow along.
“To No Remorse!”, Mary started singing. “To finally see where you wrestle… But based on what I’ve seen, it’s quite obscene. But I really want to go with you!”
Penny cut in and sang, “-I’m soo glad you wanna go with meeeee!”
“Unbelievable sights!”, Mary sang, smiling softly at Penny as she snuggled close. “Indescribably painful! People slamming, tumbling, and screaming as you hurt them in a wrestling ring, to No Remorse!”
“Don’t you dare close you’re eyes!”
“A hundred messy things to see!”
“Oh trust me, it gets better!”
“You’re like a Superstar©!”, Mary sang, looking at the ground as it trailed beneath her feet. “… We’ve flown soo far!” Mary looked at Penny and smiled. “We can’t back to what we used to be!”
“To No Remorse!”, Penny sang.
“This whole night, a surprise!”
“With Brandon Bison’s ass to kick!”
“Every dropkick red letter!”
Penny and Mary gazed into each other’s eyes and together, they sang, “We’ll make out everywhere, if there’s time to spare. Let me go to No Remorse with you…”
“- To No Remorse.”, Penny called.
“To No Remorse.”, Mary answered.
“I’ll kick some ass.”
“You’ll kick his ass.”
“A thrilling match.”
“A one, two, three.”
“For you and meeeeee.”, Penny and Mary sang, coming close for a kiss as the music slowly disappeared into clouds they crossed.

“Penny?”
Something must’ve happened on the way through heaven, because before Penny and Mary knew it, they were backstage. They quickly pulled away from their kiss as men in tights and all kinds of stagehands and production people walked past them like traffic.
And standing right in the middle with them was none other than Josh Dean.
“Mary?”, Josh shot out.
“Hi…”, Mary spoke, feeling not as awkward as she normally would have.
“She’s kind of my girlfriend now?”
“Pretty much.”, Mary smiled, shrugging a little.
“I see.”, Josh said, obviously taken by surprise. “Either way, I’m just glad you actually made it.”
“Alright Penny.”, One of the line-producers said, cutting as he took Penny by the arm. “Curtain in one minute!”
“Got it.”, Penny said, watching him walk away before she could finish what she was saying. “… And alrighty then.”
“Good luck!”
Penny kissed Mary one last time and turned away. Mary gave her a pat on the butt for good luck, pushing Penny’s way as she made her way down the hallway and followed the line-producer to the curtain.
In the distance, Christina Aldina was announcing the coming match. Penny heard the sound of thousands of fight-thirsty wrestling fans standing on their feet and hollering.
They knew that any minute now, they were going to hear L7 and watch her march down that entrance ramp. And while wrestling hadn’t been making Penny happy for awhile now, hearing all those people (not to mention sticking her tongue down Mary’s throat) just filled her with this wave of excitement that she hadn’t felt in a very long time.
Maybe, just maybe… Things were going to be alright after all.
