I think Mattel are cheaping out with their lack of upper body vests/jackets for elites of the Macho Man and the figures are suffering because of it. Part of the reason Macho Man elites are so popular is because of his amazing attires and Mattel have been leaving some important accessories out and Im not happy about it. E38 should have came with a vest, the new HOF elite should be coming with a vest/shirt and the more we let Mattel away with this the more they will keep cheaping out the fans. C'mon Bill/MDT these are elites and a handsome price at that, lets start including more clothing on the figures!!

agreed. why we cant even get a rubber shirt like E23 Macho is beyond me. they need to adjust the budget to make sure Macho gets some sort of clothing. the hat should be a minor throw in ..Thats why DM Macho will always prevail.

agreed as well. even if they didn't want to go the full jacket, E38 could've come with the E23 shirt molded/painted in different colors.

I just got E 38 today. I like it, honestly. Was going to display it with the WCW title anyways.

Even just some tops would be cool. Hat or banana, top, glasses. That's not too much. Especially when they make things like Sid have just a damn vest.

While I don't understand why they're not just using the plastic molded sleeveless shirts, because they would look just fine...
I did think maybe they'd use the "Create-A-Wrestler" line to sneak in some "must-have" clothing accessories.... but I haven't really been seeing much of that, either?
I thought the Create-A-Wrestler line would provide more clothing options for us to use on existing wrestlers.... it seems to be mostly fantasy stuff.

even if they reuse or repaint other macho king gear. i understand the cloth chocking hazard......but for things like the HOF make the age 8+.

The DM was also missing the top. Elite 23 is the only one I can think of that had it, and that one was missing the hat.

They've been cheaping out a lot more lately for sure. It's all over the line too, elites, DM's, and exclusives. But when Bill has to fight with his bosses just to keep basic articulation, that doesn't bode well.

John Cena Elites without a shirt are lame, too. That's why I passed on his E40 fig.

Ehhh, while I do agree that Mach' needs more entrance gear, I don't agree that it's a matter of us letting Mattel "get away with it". They have budgets and whatnot too. Mattel isn't malicious.

It's not in the budget is the single worst excuse.
Other lines cost the same and can include clothing, extra heads, extra hands, and other accessories.

They would be budget killers. Bill only gets a certain amount of money to spread out across the wave. He's not going to blow it on one figure in the set. Honestly he should really just stop making these cowboy hat long tights era Macho Man figures. Because there's to much to detail to them for a $20 figure line. And it seems every time he releases one the same complaints about lack of shirts is brought up. Just give us a WMIII and a pale purple trunks Macho like the Punk tribute BP and stop making Macho Man figures in the mass retail lines.
