Earlier today I finally found a DM Austin. Upon closer inspection I noticed that the Round Eagle championship was missing the final plate. I checked around the package and couldn't find it. Can I contact Mattel/someone about this or not? I don't know if anyone else had this issue before. Bonus question: Does anyone else's Austin have that gap in the thigh like the one in the picture?

Can't hurt to call them and try. They should have a support number somewhere on the box or you can surely find it online.
They might need/want the receipt and/or proof of purchase UPC though, just in my dealings with other companies so just remember that.

Save the receipt and just exchange it is going to be the quickest and best bet. If they aren't already, you'll soon find them all over. You already found one.

Mine both have the plates and no thigh gap.
Just return it to store and get another one that's better.

Sucks about the missing plate on the belt though. Just shows again how poor Mattel's quality control have become as of late.
