It really would depend on what we were talking about. I don't need 3 cookie sheets per set like Jakks used to do. Or that chair with Benoit's face dented into it. I there were relevant pieces then I'd be fine with it, but it's not totally necessary.

Another vote for no here. I agree that they could stand to even come down to around 7 or 8 bucks like Jakks used to be. That said, I'm not too sore about paying 10, I just think that's kinda where the cutoff should be.

Not for basics. Keep accessories with battlepacks and elites. I would support an increase in better paint jobs(shading, dry brushing, etc) and more articulation

Listen, the accessory packs are 4.99 at retail and they have a bunch of accessories and it has its own packaging. Unless they are cloth, an accessory shouldn't cost a few dollars. Accessory packs? Am I missing something? Mattel has those?

I think they should cancel the whole Basic line and use the budget on Elites

Hell no!
In Canada, its like $16 a basic already, and with tax that is close to $20 a figure. If basics went up even higher here, there is no way they would get bought up.

I'm also thinking back to when I was a youngster and I believe they were around 8 bucks. I'd go on the grocery trip with my parents and dad would take me to check out the wrestling figures. To kids these are still just toys and while it's fun to collect and it's even nice to have lines aimed at collectors like the Elites, once basic prices go over that 10-11 range you start pricing yourself out of the market considering A) it's WWE and B) these kids aren't buying them with their own cash. Keep in mind, that last part is an opinion, not claiming there's no possiblity they could get away with it.

If we're scoffing at the prices, imagine what mom and dad who don't give a flying crap about WWE are thinking.

12.99 is what Basics cost in some Chicago Targets. And I know I've seen basics for 13.99 at some CVS and Walgreens.
No accessories though.

Basics already cost me that in the uk. If they go up much more they'll be hurting the largest part of their market, parents/kids Big mistake in my eyes

There's no need for them to do this, the $10 price point for Basics is fine....
Plus, I'm afraid they'd be tempted to include crappy "accessories" such as the wonderful cardboard signs they've been putting in some Elites.... a few Elites even listed "tattoos" and "detailed attire" instead of accessories..... so no thanks.
Many of us who have been collecting for a while already have most of the accessories they put out anyway - they repeat stuff a lot.
With the new accessories packs, there should be no need to add even more accessories to the Basics.
Whenever I'm on the fence about a Basic - I can usually justify getting it due to the price point.... if you add a few bucks, you can forget about it....

I wouldn't. Basics are just that... Basic. The Elite line is elite because it comes with the neat accessories, clothing and championships. Plus, if they started throwing in accessories with Basics, it would make Elites that much less special in terms of "why should I pay the higher price for those?"
