I'm never writing a match again. I've just lost all the fire I thought I had for that part of the game and now it's a chore just to write one spot.
I think I also need to start reevaluating whose RPs I respond to.

Just started my next rp, because that's what I do. I don't know how my brain is working these days, but Jesus Christmas, I cannot WAIT to take off writing this new character. I actually started thinking about my next RP 5 minutes after I read your critique of my first one. I already have ~10 pages written trying to flesh out who Frank Lynn is. Of course, I need to see how I do in my match and who my next opponent is before I can really sink my teeth into it but I think it is off to a good start. It could end up being 20-25 pages by the time I am done. I doubt I will go that long every time but I feel it is necessary this next time or I will get more "Who the  is this guy and why should I care" critiques. |

Should have the RP up ina few hours. Long monologue type of stuff that makes up most of it. Didn't have the time or energy to do some of the scenes and breakups with it i planned, so it got lumped together like a giant promo. Still enjoyed doing it, just wish I could have done more with it. But the last week has not been good, and the migraine I've had for over 24 hours now hasn't been helping the matter. As is, I literally closed at work last night, got home, showered, and have been finishing typing my notes out while still having said migraine, and am doing an all nighter in the process because otherwise I won't have time to post the RP before deadline, and then heading back to work to open.
So the flow to the monologue might not be as good as I want it, because once I've typed it I don't have it in me to go over it again to make sure it flows properly lol.
I should have a seg I'm working on and the match done and turned in sometime Sunday night.

I know I was in favor of the deadline extension, but I'd like to apologize that this RP is not getting done anytime soon. I've had a rough couple of weeks, including therapy sessions, ridiculous amounts of schoolwork, and family problems. I have tried my absolute hardest to put effort into this RP, but sadly, I do not have the strength, time, or mind to finish it. Above all else, I'd like to apologize to Deep Figure Value, who put on one hell of an RP and put a lot of effort into making this happen, only for us to back out so suddenly. I am really sorry for this, as I would've liked this match to happen as well, but my body, mind, and soul is not where it should be at the moment. I have had the worst trauma of my life happen in these past few unfortunate weeks and I wish I could've given you the match you and I always wanted. I'm truly sorry. With all that said, I will be stepping away from the e-fed scene for a little while. I'm definitely not taking this as a permanent retirement or anything, but it'll definitely be a long break for me. Writing RPs has become a hassle to do, with so many things going on, and my mind is just not in the right place to continue any longer. I will definitely try my best to keep in touch with you all, but until then, I have to take a breather and let my mind see where it is at. To those who have helped me along the way (there are so many of you, but I'm pretty sure you know who you are), I cannot thank you enough. I have let my skills as a writer gradually improve because of all of the help you guys have given me. I appreciate all you guys have done and I'll love you all for it. This is not a goodbye, but rather a "see you next time." Ante Whitner will be back, I promise. |
