So...i don't understand why the roleplays don't involve wrestling? Because the idea behind this is you're creating an all around person. A wrestler and a person, two, one the same. The goal is to have the story tell whatever real life stuff is happening with them and trying to tie it back into wrestling whether it's obvious, an AHA moment, a learning experience...whatever you want. Every RP should be about the character, whose occupation is wrestler in a world where wrestling is totally real, and how their matches and feuds and so on shape their real lives. It's a balancing act that takes a little while to get used to. Go read something Deep Figure Value or Markw have written in the last, I don't know, year. Anything, really. Two completely contrasting styles of writing and how they approach the balancing act I mentioned above, but they're both at the top of their game. |

So as the RPs start rolling in I'm reading them all and replying with my thoughts. Upon looking back at what I'm saying I realized that some of my comments might be interpreted as harsh or possibly even mean. I hope nobody is taking them that way. Any opinions I give whether good or bad are meant with the best of intentions as constructive criticism and I hope that is how they are taken.
As a new participant I don't want to overstep my bounds or step on any toes or create any grudges so hey, if I'm out of line tell me to shut the f*ck up and I'll read and enjoy everybody's RPs in silence.

Slightly confused about being tagged (you just need Drakz/Trace and often your opponents permission, highly doubt a match writer would ever have an issue with it - I certainly don't - if that's why I've been tagged).
