People go out of their way to visit Canada? That doesn't sound right. Toronto and Montreal. With a girl. So yes they do, if there's a reason. Pfft, Toronto is like America light that barely counts as Canada. Go visit Saskatoon or something Fair play on the reason though

Yep.

Drakz is the one guy who is always traveling on here. Drakz are you loaded? Haha, not at all. I'm just really good at saving money and then spending it on going places. Growing up I'd only ever been to France on one holiday I was barely old enough to remember, to visit some of my Dad's friends. When I left home at 19 I decided it was time to see some sheeeeeyt: France (again) Germany (Berlin and Hamburg) Croatia (Three times and now I'm in a relationship with a half French, half Croatian girl that number will no doubt rise) Italy (Venice on the way back from Croatia) India Nepal Japan (Twice. One of my best friends lives and works in Tokyo) Thailand And now Morocco tomorrow. The next places on the list (in no particular order) are: Cuba USA Canada Iceland Turkey New Zealand China Korea I should probably visit more of Europe as well really considering it's right on my doorstep.

Canada. Been there a few times. Flew to Florida and got stuck in a C1 hurricane while there. The only perk of that was when then Governor Bush ordered the stay in place we were in a pizza buffet and we were the only ones there other than the workers so that was cool just hanging around for about 12 hours and joining them in demolishing some weird ass pizza. People go out of their way to visit Canada? That doesn't sound right. Y'ever been to Niagara Falls, NY? It's the complete antithesis of what people are talking about when they call Niagara "kitschy". The place is a dump. There's nothing to do shy of the attractions around the falls (unless you're into a casino that smells like any room that my grandmother and my great aunt Beverly might be hanging out in). There's nothing to eat except the hotel restaurant or an overpriced Hard Rock Cafe, and beyond the six block area adjacent to the park, the town is actually decrepit and largely abandoned, having been built on a toxic waste site that led to numerous birth defects in the area. In the meantime, you can hang out by the falls and look over the river into Canada, which looks like Vegas by comparison. Yeah, I'd go back - to that side.

Since travel's come up, might as well toss my hat into the ring. While nowhere as extensive as Drakz's ventures, I've been to:
Canada (B.C. only thus far) Australia South Korea (4 months for study abroad) Japan (1 year on a teaching contract)
In addition I've got a second interview for a position in Japan in a couple of weeks and one way or another I'll be ending up back there next spring.

The company I work for is a subsidiary of a company based in Japan. I guess once upon a time, any employee who hit 30 years was rewarded with a trip for two to visit the factory. I'm only 3 years in, but that'd be my wife's dream, so let's see if a) they ever bring it back, and b) I make it another 30 years in this mortal coil.
I'd like to visit Ireland. They should build a transatlantic bridge/tunnel.

So I've made it pretty well known that for a long time I had a cache of fully written scenes feeding different stories I wanted to tell based around David Brennan, and for a while, a lot of my rp writing consisted of just plugging them in and making some necessary tweaks.
While my cache ran out some time prior to this most recent run, I'm really psyched that going into SuperBrawl and coming out of it, I'm going to get to revisit both a scene I've always had mapped out but never quite put to paper, annnnnnd a subplot that I actually planted the seeds for in an rp a couple years back that circumstances got in the way of me ever running with. The written word you've been getting lately is all fresh, but the ideas are still older than time.

Some people just don't have the vision to do it. Kudos. Meanwhile my next idea is so stupid that my wife who usually is very reserved about using such terms said "that's really intellectually- disabled".

One of these April Fool's Day I'm going to take everyone's name on here and put it into the filter and replace it with something stupid. Or reword it so random results look different.
"Samael defeats Drakz after the dastardly attacks of Cameron Stone, who just defeated Lucas Crowe and will face Penny Shannon at SuperBrawl after defeating David Brennan."
Ya know, the exact opposite of Black Hole Sun.

I could kill off my old characters but I think even in e-fed terms, those numbers would amount to legally recognized genocide.

I think I've killed off one character in my entire e-fedding history, and in many ways, I regret doing so. It's only just now about to work itself out into a sensible angle.
I'm the type of guy who never lets things go, though. If tomorrow I was faced with the prospect of not coming down for breakfast the next morning unless I brought back Smash f*ckin' Rodriguez, I could do it, because a couple years ago I found myself up one night, completely annihilated and over the moon irritated with myself for creating such a shallow and vapid character that I literally sat at a netbook that was too small for me to type on and banged out a radio interview with him that fleshed out and entire reason for his being.

I have no regrets killing Malakai off. I told a story I don't think anyone else has ever told, and I did it well enough to be called THE best in efedding (as I've been many places and I consider this place to be the ultimate RP based place). Not the best ever, but for a fleeting moment the story of Malakai's mortality won me the coveted prize that lists me among the best ever. I wouldn't change a thing, except maybe not doing it sooner.
I have no intentions on killing off Sam, and he'll still be an important piece to the next puzzle I'm putting together. It's been tried before, but not to the magnitude of which I am attempting.
Dream big, but don't be stupid about it.

Malakai was the exception, not the rule. It was long term, well developed with a story purpose.
It's different than being mad and leaving and trying to be some kinda faux badass and draw attention to thr fact thT you are indeed leaving.
