Cheers to Lucas Crowe for posting a bio. Character looks good. I'm glad to see that he's a big guy. Seems like the majority of our characters are around the same size. Great finisher. Thanks boss. Like I noted in the bio his finisher used to be a rear naked choke but someone else is using a sleeper hold as a finisher. I had the idea of the Rainmaker being a special finisher and changing the Blackout to be a guillotine choke but that's Trace's finish. So I opted to keep the rear naked choke but make that my "ultimate" and introduce the new finisher. I was surprised that there was no one using the Rainmaker actually. Haha. It also dawned on me when I was going through everyone's profile to make sure no one did the Rainmaker that there is a whole heap of people with submission finishes or signatures I switched my finisher to a submission (D'arce Choke) because it fit in with Frank's MMA fighter background but to be honest, I didn't realize how many other submission finishers our roster has right now. Its nice to switch things up with finishers so I'm glad I like to write my matches when time allows. I can mix it up, throw a surprise in there every once in a while.

I, for one, welcome Lucas Crowe's evolution from Good Brother to mammoth man beast. Now we know the real reason you're retiring the Brennan character. Lucas Crowe is back and "He's not finished with you!" I don't like your insinuation that I'm going to lose, old man. Brennan's only walking off into the sunset in the event that I don't walk out of Pac Rim with every WFWF title available under my belt. There's a whole bizarre, "secret folder" contingency plan I've developed in the event that all that happens to keep the character going.

I use a fairly unique finisher, in the Omega Driver/Awful Waffle. the only time someone used that finish too was Hutton Brown, which ended up being one of my most notorious feuds. I've also used the tree of woe double stomp for years and no one else is dumb enough to use such a needlessly complex finish to set up. I do however, have the King Kraig Presents: Calvin Lee's Burning Hammer in my move arsenal.

I just use moves I like.
I'm pretty sure every character I've ever made has used some sort of variation of the Fameasser for a finish. I only noticed that this year, and decided to change it up a bit and give DB an old favorite. The Pearl River Plunge is a doooooope finish wasted on a half-talent mush mouth. I'm takin' it back, yo!

Oh I'd love to take offense at your use of the "old man" insult but I don't think i can do that anymore. With my 50th literally just around the corner I got a birthday greeting in the mail... from the AARP! For $16 a year I can get a membership card and tote bag that makes me officially an old man. Does this mean I have hike my pants halfway up to my chest, wear socks with sandals, and complain about my joints aching at least three times a day?

you also have to complain that everything was better in the 80s

The sit out Samoan Driver "Needle Damage" has been Drakz's go to for a very long time. Think I maybe had some kind of cutter before that? Can't rmember, it was years and years ago. I gave him the reverse dragon sleeper "Channel 9" because I like the idea of wrestlers not relying on one finish for every match. I also added "Rolling Cold" which is a Cross Roads because I always thought it's a great set up or aftermath of the reverse dragon sleeper. Having said that I have written Drakz ending matches with a number of different moves in my time because again I like the idea of moves other than finishers ending things, otherwise what's the point in doing any of the other moves and going for a pin fall if they never win you matches? A double stomp has ended a few matches and I think Drakz beat Kirkbride with a second rope electric chair drop that planted Kirkbride face first on the top turnbuckle.

Sat front row for Donovan Dijak's last match with Chaotic last night. It ruled.
Also, when you sit up front, you get to count on 40% of the entire card falling into your lap.

I've had far too many finishers i've used over the years, many of them using the same name. I like to bust them out when i'm writing matches every now and then just to pop myself and people who i've known for a while.

Finishers I've used for my characters.
Hangman's Horror: Razors Edge
19:15: Yakuza Kick
Serpent's Temptation: S.O.S.
Phoenix Splash
Triple A: Codebreaker
Pixie Cut: Slingblade
That's over the course of three characters.

I have a really hard time remembering how many times I've changed my finisher. Reasonably certain Justin Tyme's finisher was the OverTyme (Green Bay Plunge) for quite some time though. And the Super Happy Fun Slide (Canadian Destroyer) had been his signature for as long as I can remember too. And now with Crowe he's had the Motor City Blackout and the Recurring Nightmare. I'm more guilty of constantly changing my entrance themes. I'll hear something and be like "Damn, I wanna use that for my entrance theme". Tyme has had like a million different songs (including a different one for every return) and Crowe has had 4 now.

What has always made me laugh about picking entrance themes is how many members of the fed do you think are ever even going to listen to it?

I'll be the contrarian - I try and routinely browse and listen to every one that I'm able to find. That's probably a little nuts, but a) I love music, b) I'll listen to anything once, and c) often times, at least if anyone else has a mind that works like mine (which would be terrifying), I feel like it's another tool to try and bring this character to more vivid reality. If nothing else, I feel like the entrance theme selection generally tells me at least a little bit more about who the writer intends for their character to be. I'll never have another selection as good as "Whiskey Will" Brennan's initial run down the long neck. I don't mind saying that that was nothing short of inspired.

That's why I usually include a youtube video of my entrance theme, so if someone does want to listen to it they don't have to go looking for it. I have listened to some people's entrance themes, specifically if I was writing a match for a big show and wasn't given an entrance for someone it helps me kinda figure out what pace their entrance could/should be. I also just quite enjoy music. I have a really hard time remembering how many times I've changed my finisher. I can think of nothing unnervingly nightmarish as a near seven foot tall mountain of a man coming out to that song. I would be welcoming death's sweet embrace if I was witness to it.

I remember one time, I think it was Schneider, went through and made a playlist of everyone's themes on one of those old widget imbedded music player things people would use on MySpace and everyone had fun with it.

I think it was me. Which speaks volumes, considering I change my theme more than most people roleplay. I'm toying with themes for the pending match with Ante right now. It's either going to be "Catfish Billy" by Yelawolf, an undisclosed Eminem song that will spoil the match type, "The Man Comes Around" by Johnny Cash, or this, which I think would be an awesome wrestling theme song.
