I was the champion because I am the best. Not because I'm the owner.
So what if I won the title only 1 show after I took over from Shawn. Correlation doesn't equal causation beeeeetcheeeees.

Flaps is one of the only instances I've ever looked sideways at someone booking themselves into the title scene, and he was still my boy at the time. Do you know what I hate? Being right. A big crux of the real life heat between me and bad guy™ back in the day was the fact that because of time and place, I could never get myself booked into the mid card title picture (National, International, what have you) because of the way the chips always fell, and this underlying notion that I was "too good" for either of those titles. I've always resented that sentiment, as I felt it would one day a) expose the fact that I'm not as brilliant a writer as everyone seems to think, and b) become something of a hindrance to my own capabilities. It comes as little surprise to me that, having fallen face first into the world title picture mere weeks after capturing my first singles title in a segmented 14 years as part of this fed, I lost my first stab at the world title in an uncontested picture and that in spite of my most earnest, concerted efforts otherwise, I'm almost certainly going to lose this rematch as well. The only silver lining is that a) I'll get to not waste the segment I wrote for the first post-Pacific Rim PPV the second I decided to back myself into the career corner, and b) after this RP that I've already rewritten so many times that I'm now tripping over story threads I haven't even planted, I'll never have to write David Brennan again.

This was a while back but my initial intentions as owner was to eventually step out of the scene in terms of competing after Super Brawl. Plans changed but I stayed out of the world title scene afterwards. If you want to know more about my ownership time in WFWF, fill free to ask. You can PM me if you want.

Do you intend on creating a new character? No. I've been feeling perfectly uninspired for a while now, which is a damn shame because for all the yankery I've received over the years, this was the hottest run I'd been on for quite a while. The mood may spark again, who knows - Brennan came out of f*ckin' nowhere, but as of now, I've got zero intention of starting something new.

Fair enough, but if you change your mind, there's a cheeseburger eating dog gimmick available.

Fair enough, but if you change your mind, there's a cheeseburger eating dog gimmick available. You joke, but one of the things I've wanted to do once upon a time was take one of these abandoned characters that either went tits up or just never amounted to more than an RP or two and give them a proper treatment. Sometimes, these joke characters have some really interesting gimmicks - it's a damn shame that Lincoln Dina's writer was such a good ol' boy, traditionally minded, chauvinistic hack with a serious self-esteem complex who couldn't write for sh*t, because the idea of a good ol' boy, traditionally minded, chauvinistic cowboy with a serious self-esteem complex is a treasure trove of material that someone who can write worth a damn could really sink his or her teeth into. Good ideas are wasted on the hacks. Most come and go characters are just some paint by numbers "rough childhood, mean streak, brooding Hot Topic graduate". #HiAndrewCarter #RIPGoofyMcNotFunny

Such an underachiever.

The fact I've been running this place for roughly five years and it isn't even the first time I've done it genuinely makes me want to jump in front of a bus.

All self doubt aside, when I get an idea, I put it to an outline immediately. My best RPs have come to light this way, and brother, I just got me an idea. It's gonna be a stretch, and I'm gonna have to pretty much go all in (which is the nice thing about a probable last match), but just like that, I'm excited about this match again.

Cheers to Lucas Crowe for posting a bio. Character looks good. I'm glad to see that he's a big guy. Seems like the majority of our characters are around the same size.
Great finisher.

Like I noted in the bio his finisher used to be a rear naked choke but someone else is using a sleeper hold as a finisher. I had the idea of the Rainmaker being a special finisher and changing the Blackout to be a guillotine choke but that's Trace's finish. So I opted to keep the rear naked choke but make that my "ultimate" and introduce the new finisher. I was surprised that there was no one using the Rainmaker actually. Haha. It also dawned on me when I was going through everyone's profile to make sure no one did the Rainmaker that there is a whole heap of people with submission finishes or signatures

I'm a mark for Jun Akiyama and Bret Hart. I like the idea of a huge wrestler using the Rainmaker. It's going to kill people.
