Hi. I bought a Hollwood Hogan off of Jakks, this one When I got it, the I noticed the weightbelt had some black staining on it. Is there any way to remove it? I'm afraid to try acetone because I don't want to mess it up.

Ah that's because of the cloth t-shirt included with him. The black dye of the shirt has stained the plastic. You may notice it under his arms around the inner biceps too. Perfectly common problem, and not surprising. It pretty much happens with every cloth black t-shirt Jakks has made. Obviously not ideal, but nothing to really worry about, you've got one that's not too bad relatively speaking.
And you may get told otherwise but rest assured: IT WON'T COME OFF. Sorry to be so blunt, but it's the truth. Acetone does NOT work. The stain has seeped down into the plastic, and changed the composition slightly.
Chances are, it shouldn't get any worse now, so don't worry too much about it.

Yeah unless you try to cover it up it won't come off. You can always try polish remover but that probably still won't work man.

Yeah it's the same with the Legends figs. The black dye from the accessories seems to stain the figs if they are left in the package too long. I've tried everything to get the stains off but nothing seems to work.
