Second year in a row I haven't been excited. And just about every other 'Mania, I've been pumped.
I really think WWE have sort of booked their way into a corner this year. And as ridiculous on their part as that is, it'll be interesting to see where they go with it. Like I said, I wasn't the least bit excited last year, but WM31 turned out to be a decent card.

Charlotte vs Sasha vs Becky and potentially Owens vs Zayn is enough to get me excited (assume both matches get 15 minutes or more).

Just as last year, I'm taking the wait and see approach to everything. Shane vs Taker has me intrigued. Its nice for AJ Styles and Kevin Owens etc, getting their time to shine on the big stage. Ambrose in a marquee match. But, all that said, I'm not the least bit excited for it. I'm kinda at the point where its like "lets just get this overwith" and hope they can put together a long term.vision for next year's event. WM31 surprised me by being pretty good despite a very lackluster build for a lot of the matches. 32 can potentially do the same. Its just unfortunate that the most a Wrestlemania can do for me anymore is "perhaps surprise me" instead of excite me.

The last few years people have said that Mania was going to suck. I don't remember anyone really being hyped for 31.
Myself, I'm always excited for Wrestlemania. Have been every year since 14. I'm more excited and probably biased this year since I'll be there.
I guess going in with low expectations could mean it ends up better than you thought.

Not sure if 'sad' is the word. Indifference, maybe. Yeah. Sod it, that'll do.

That's what a lot of people said last year before the show.
After people were calling it a top ten Mania.
We don't know what will happen until it happens so sit back and enjoy the ride and let's all try to quit being so pessimistic about everything.

It's the least excited I've been for a WrestleMania, ever.....
However, it's when my expectations are lowest, I tend to walk away from these things with a better impression, so I'm keeping an open mind & will judge the show based on what WWE presents.
I really, really thought WWE was going to finally get Austin back in the ring for this one.... I mean, he was featured on the WWE2K16 Video Game cover, usually that's a sign of things-to-come. So I'm stumped that Austin is a non-factor here.
Most people disagree with me when I say that Austin's career, as amazing as it was, was a bit of a disappointment.... he was only really "hot" for about five years, '96-01.... I feel like we never got an appropriate finale - and we probably never will. If you compare him to a Hogan or even a Cena - the longevity just isn't there......
Austin has said a couple times that he probably could wrestle one more match.... for multiple reasons, it never came together..... so somebody dropped the ball here...
While McMahon VS. Undertaker has intrigued me..... it's not enough to carry the entire show (nor should it be). This is WrestleMania, we're supposed to be going bonkers in anticipation by this point!

The build this year has been almost as bad as the build for last year. I'm not sad about it though because even though last year had a putrid road to WrestleMania, the show turned out to be pretty good.

Three things:
1) Shane 2) F'N 3) McMahon

It's going to be better than we all think. The card might not be as strong as it could have been, but they always pull something off.
I've booked the weekend off work, very much looking forward to it.

Agreed! WWE failed to put together a true Legend vs Icon type of Match up. Goldberg, Batista, Austin, HBK, Rock, Hogan, Sting, and Angle are all guys who I'd like to see face another wrestler of their stature. Matches like that draw. It started in 1996 when Piper and Hogan drew a HUGE buyrate and they did it again some months later. Michaels Vs Hogan did 500,000 buys on a fairly weak card. I could go on. Now I'm well aware some of the guys I mentioned won't be wrestling for very obvious and unavoidable reasons, but they should have done what was needed to get the guys who could. The right payoff would even get HBK in there imo, throw Austin an offer he simply can't refuse, bend to Goldberg's demands. Give us something of the magnitude we expect for Mania.

I said last year that it was going to suck. I stand by that. Not everyone on the roster was hurt last year Completely different ball game

Over analysing everything leads you nowhere. It'll be fun for what it is. Shane vs Taker will be epic. Reigns winning, not so much. But, I'm always pulling for the surprises and shocks, so you never know. Looking forward to it.

I think it is going to be a great night of wrestling. I will always be excited for Wrestlemania.
My only sadness is Seth Rollins still on the IR.

No matter the card, it's always a spectacle. I've been watching Mania every year since 2009 (my first live 'Mania was X8 in 2002) and I never fail to get excited.
