Am I seriously supposed to believe that Shane actually has potential to get the better of the Undertaker? Last night on RAW, I saw Shane look like the freaking Rock going up against Taker. If this was a fight, I would have scored that round in favor of Shane up until the interference! This is ridiculous...
I can't be the only one who finds this storyline to be a total joke? Am I???

There is so much to this angle/match that just does not make any sense.
Why did Taker agree to this match in the first place?? It just makes no sense whatsoever.
The booking of this whole match is just bad.

I just think it's funny how people always complain how Shane was made to look like Kanes equal in their feud (which is not true IMO), he stands to be a much bigger threat to Taker especially if Shane was to win.

Imagine if Shane turns out to be a heel and then starts bullying guys like Reigns, Owens, and Ambrose? You know, in the Same way Steph somehow bullies every single Diva...

Shane is going to have trouble fighting Taker if he spends so much time fighting the mic. He was stuttering and stammering like a mad man.
Hopefully he takes a good beating in the match. But why I am supposed to root for Vince's guy? Vince is a real a-hole, I don't want his guy to win. It's turning into a mess.

That segment did neither of them any favors whatsoever. It hurt the feud greatly. Sad thing is, Thats probably the last time they will both appear on Raw or at the very least, together.

Shane needs to do something about those terrible punches
I mean i get what he is trying to do we've seen it done before (quick & tight hands and knees) mma style but his execution is lacking it's like his clothes are too damn tight so he can't move or something

I'm with you man, I'm still wondering when they are gonna explain why Taker would even listen to McMahon at all from a kayfabe point of view. I guess someone could say "oh Vince is his boss, he's gotta do what he says." But then again they have Roman Reigns defying authority every week. Just does make sense. Whatever, I think I've finally come to terms that wrestlings glory days are be us. There is so much to this angle/match that just does not make any sense. On paper, the match itself makes perfect sense as its a nice alternative for Taker, they'll have some fun spots and run ins and it'll be entertaining. However the build itself is starting to fall dramatically, people are struggling to grasp the actual plot behind this whole thing. Vince, who was deeply entrenched I the Roman Reigns angle, is now going off on a tangen to 'disown' his returning Son. I'm still not sure why this is. Stephanie, who is also deeply involved with Triple H and Roman Reigns, keeps getting brought in to this picture too. The whole Shane taking over Raw ideology is what's really gotten this angle into a muddle in my opinion. They clearly felt they needed a big story to get people to buy into this, but in reality it's borderline true, it makes Taker the heel, and deep down nobody wants to see him lose in his hometown at Wrestlemania despite wanting Shane to take control of Raw. I'm still not sure who were meant to cheer for.
The bigger picture is that we all know this was a huge Hail Mary since they were waiting as long as possible to see if Cena could go, but the story behind it is what's really confusing everyone. It doesn't need to be this deep when we all know there wasn't any original long term plan to come from this angle.

Everything about this match set up has been horrible. However, if Sting shows up during the match and hits the Undertaker with a bat, it will all be worth it.

Shane's got a masterplan, wins after Sting interferes and beats the piss out of Taker. Shane gets control of Raw and Sting vs. Taker is set up for SummerSlam or WrestleMania 33.

Everything about this match set up has been horrible. However, if Sting shows up during the match and hits the Undertaker with a bat, it will all be worth it. After reading about how a few people want Sting to show up to finish what he started and set up a match with Taker for Mania 33, if Taker is about to go for a tombstone on Shane, thumb ripping across the throat and I hear a crow, I will lose my  ing mind and officially love this storyline. |
