I'm wondering what scale would be best for Mattel action figures. I'm wanting to get an ambulance and car that would look close to scale. Maybe if you had a link or picture and where you bought it at would be nice.

Visit a local die cast shop and compare the figure to the stuff they have there.
And with how expensive large scale vehicles are, you're better off making one with papercraft or sheet styrene like model builders.
But yeah, see if there are any 1/10 scale model kits, sounds roughly about right.
