Let's not repeat the junk from the last thread. If mods want to lock this one up too, that's cool, but this is pretty big news. The final advertised appearance for former WWE World Heavyweight champion Daniel Bryan, his VIP signing on Wrestlemania Sunday 4/3 at AXXESS in Dallas, Texas, has been canceled. Tickets for the appearance have been pulled and a replacement will be announced. Yesterday, Bryan's appearances in New York, New Jersey and Washington, DC this weekend at live events as well as his scheduled appearances on the post-Wrestlemania European tour were also canceled. I am trying to be respectful because I love Bryan and I have no idea what the circumstances are - but to request time off when WWE is gonna honor you and on the biggest weekend of the year for fans to get to meet you? He must be pissed off about something major. No way around that. Not accompanying Brie at HOF either.... I dunno guys. I dunno.

I'm assuming because he's forced to retire the only thing he ever did he just wants a bit of time to adjust and not be around it. I can only imagine how frustrating and depressing it must be to be at wrestling events knowing you can never do it again.
Hope he doesn't get too depressed over it.

The part of all of this that confuses me is where they were gonna do an appreciation night for him, as well as a signing and NOW he requests time off?? There's no way it's as cut and dry as that because you gotta think if this was just on the up and up WWE would say like, Daniel...NOW of all times?? If it was just time off I think WWE would say nows not the BEST time haha
Something is up. If he just wanted time away from wrestling, he waited a little long to make up his mind don't ya think

Hopefully it's nothing serious.
(a little harmless speculation)
Perhaps the original plan for Mania, as it certainly seemed to be heading that way, was Brie w/Bryan in her corner vs. Lana w/Rusev in her corner. Thus giving him and his wife one last WrestleMania moment before the baby making begins. When WWE decided to turn that match into a cluster, Daniel got pissed and said screw it?
