This has become REALLY interesting...and not in a good way. I don't see him as the type of guy who would just leave the company high and dry on their most critical two weeks of the year simply to rest. Like I said in the MSG thread, I hope all is well with him. Keeping my eye close on this story...

I had an opportunity to meet Bryan a few weeks ago. Great guy. Too bad for Those who bought VIP tickets. Hope he's ok.
Also if they switch him with Taker I'll be pissed as I could have grabbed Daniels axxess tickets and didn't.

It's pretty obvious really. He had sex with Nikki Bella, John Cena was recording it because he's just freaky like that, and a snippet was released featuring Bryan making racist remarks against Hispanics and Eskimos and they need to distance themselves from him before the story catches fire.
Seriously though, if I HAD to guess it sounds more like there was a dispute of some type. I don't think he's just not adapting to retirement well, that seems weak for someone with such a strong spirit. Maybe it is that, but that really sounds weeny ass, pulling out of scheduled appearances because he's sad about having to retire. I think it's something else, but something that can be worked out. It might be money related.

Wade Keller is reporting that the closest source he has to the situation indicated it is not any type of falling out, but a health concern. No word as to if it's an actual medical issue, or just a matter of Bryan not feeling comfortable being around wrestling right now. He didn't speculate.
