when i opened my elite kalisto i saw that his right arm was painted compleatly wrong so do i contact ringside or order a second elite kalisto

Call them, ask for a voucher or a check
Personally the check is a lot easier, a lot of stores have trouble accepting the voucher because lots of employees have never seen them before (you also can't use the voucher online)
If they ask you to send the figure back to them, make sure to tell them the shipping label must be pre-paid by them. Sometimes they try and send one which isn't pre-paid

Just a completely random question. In the US is the liability of the product with the Manufacturer and therefore your right as the consumer with regards to resolving faulty products with the manufacturer rather than the seller/retailer?
The only reason I ask is that in the UK your contract of sale is solely between you (the consumer) and the retailer. The retailer must deal with your claim and cannot ask you contact the manufacturer (although you can do if via your own choice and the manufacturer may offer to help). The retailer must then refund or replace the faulty product (or opt to repair after a certain period of time) and they then take up with the manufacturer (a bit like a chain) but means the consumer has a right to a quick and simple return process.
I'm just curious to know!

The box does say colors may vary. I think it only covers damage and major paint flaws right? Like missing paint apps.

I'm just curious to know! Retailers are only legally responsible to follow their own return guidelines which have to be clearly posted someplace customers can see. Most manufacturers in the US would rather consumers deal with them so any long reaching legal issues can be headed off. Most retail stores will gladly deal with customers issues but they do not have to most of the time. I recently had a customer call about a swing set they purchased over a year ago which broke during a windstorm. The manufacturer told them they were out of their years coverage and the customer did not buy the extended warranty so we were off the hook for the cost of repairs. We went ahead and ordered the needed parts for them.
