Do you think they would still be wrestling in the WWE?? Would they have left for TNA when their WWE contracts expired?? Would they have retired from the business by now??
Chris Jericho is still wrestling at the age of 45, so I have to wonder if Benoit and Guerrero would still be wrestling if they were still alive.
So what does everyone think??

Benoit was put on ECW. The place where careers go to die before leaving for TNA. So, Benoit would be in TNA.
Saying that Eddie survived would have to undo all his drug abuse. Which would undo his hiatus in 2001. It's all too deep honestly.
Tldr: ROH.

Benoit probably would've had a run with the ECW before getting drafted back to one of the main shows the following year.
Also correct me if I'm wrong but didn't ECW and Smackdown have a talent exchange thing going back then where the stars could appear on both shows?

I think both men would be retired now. Benoit for medical reasons, and Eddie by his own choice.

I don't think Benoit would still be around with all the testing they do now for concussions and such. Either that or he'd be gone for wellness policy reasons.
Eddie I think would be on a part time type deal

Too deep to even talk about tbh. They wouldn't be wrestling anymore definitely...

If Benoit were still alive, his wife and son would still be alive.
That's a good start, I think.

Eddie I think would be on a part time type deal Keep in mind that the primary reason we have the Wellness Policy we have now is due to Eddie's untimely passing in 2005. Had he not passed then that may not be in place today.

Which would undo his hiatus in 2001. It's all too deep honestly. Tldr: ROH. Well, if we are going to get into semantics, Benoit was going to be dead within 10 months. As his sister-in-law brought up a couple years ago, in Benoit's autopsy, the medical examiner found Benoit's heart to be around 3 times the normal size. Outside of semantics, it really isn't an easy thing to point out. Had Eddie not died, WWE wouldn't have put forth the Wellness Policy, Benoit probably wouldn't have fallen into his depression, and Rey wouldn't have gotten his push. I hate to say it, but Benoit's death brought a lot more good for sports as a whole. His suicide brought concussions to be taken a lot more serious. That being said, him killing his family wasn't something that in anyway brought a positive to the table.

Benoit was gonna die before the end of the year anyway
Eddie I think would be retired and helping out with lucha underground if he wasn't still involved with wwe or maybe even running a wrestling school with chavo jr in Texas

If they were still alive, we wouldn't be talking about their deaths. Nothing against the OP whatsoever. But.... This is a bummer of a topic.

Well, I with Eddie I think we would have still gotten the same end result. And with Benoit if he hadn't done what he did he would be suffering from Alzheimer’s symptoms. Although I don't remember where, but I could have sworn I read with Benoit his in ring career was going to be coming to an end and the WWE wanted him to work behind the scenes as a trainer.

Both men would be 49 years old now. Kurt Angle is two years younger than them and wrestled a very similar style and he retired this year despite being in very fragile condition for the last two or three years.
I would suggest they'd both be retired now. Eddie might be on Lucha Underground/AAA with Rey and Chavo, but he wouldn't be on the road with WWE that's for sure.
Benoit would be a trainer or agent with WWE in my opinion, or he'd be retired and living as a family man - which has sent shivers down my spine.
If Eddie hadn't died, the wellness policy wouldn't be as strict as it is and more wrestlers might have serious addictions that aren't being managed appropriately. If Benoit hadn't died, Daniel Bryan wouldn't have been forced to retire and we'd still be seeing chair shots to the head.

I think Benoit would be running his own wrestling school if he were alive today while Eddie would perhaps be semi-retired and occasionally helping out at the Performance Center.

I would still welcome Eddie around but not Benoit.
Benoit was a hell of a wrestler but he had the charisma and personality of a piece of Sheetrock
