I REALLY REALLY hope Sting was pulling our legs. He's my favorite of all time and it'd be nice to have him finish his career with Taker. If not I guess it's alright but it hurts to see him go.

Its weird how Sting has gone on and on and on in the media and social media the past week saying he isnt retired and then during the HOF he just casually drops that he's retired like its nothing.

Spur of the day decision in front of his fans and however many were watching on the Network? or pre mania swerve. But yeah, I thought about that too. Its better to do it there while hes being celebrated instead of it being a social media post, or a sad Raw.

Just finished watching it and i enjoyed the ceremony. Michael Hayes and Jimmy Garvin obviously had the speech of the night. I liked Stan Hanson's speech as well since he told some great story's. Ric Flair going off script is always great and he pop'd Steve Austin, Sting had a nice speech.

Worst Hall of Fame ceremony for me. I might be in the minority. The freebirds things went on way too long and same with Vader. I understand Freebirds dedicated time for us, but FFS.

I'm honestly devastated that Sting has retired... Pretty much the only reason to even keep up with the product over the last couple years was on the hope that the final do-able dream match would actually happen. The stars aligned, but WWE were too idiotic to capitalise on it.
I kind of wish Sting had just stayed away and didn't allow Vince to make a mockery of his career. And on top of that they injured him with a stupid, dangerous move. As bad as TNA is, at least they treated Sting with the respect he deserved.
I think it's safe to say my days as a "fan" of wrestling are numbered.

In hindsight it just makes you instantly regret them not doing Undertaker vs Sting last year, while Sting was still hot and fresh into the Company. I still believe that the plan was always to do Triple H last year, then retire against the Undertaker in Texas this year, but obviously injuries got in the way and now it's just a huge regret.
Turned out to be a great ceremony with some really good speeches. Freebirds and Hansen were brilliant, and Sting was grateful as always. Was a nice touch that he dropped in the Joker gimmick too.
