They're both big, and Vince is a mark for size.
They're both okay in the ring, not that interesting.
They're both not that compelling on the mic.
Neither of them accomplished much in NXT - hell, Roman was barely there.
I feel like Baron will be the heel version of Roman. Main event of WM 33, Reigns vs Corbin? I can see it on the horizon, and I don't like it at all.

I always use Baron Corbin as an example for what Roman Reigns should be. A heel who is a complete dick and great at it. Heel Corbin is excellent and I personally am a big fan of his.

Baron Corbin's NXT gimmick for the last couple of months is basically everything Roman Reigns should be.
I'd say Corbin is better on the mic, but we haven't seen Roman work as a heel on the main roster, so, all things considered, I can't.
Roman is definitely better than Corbin in the ring, though neither of them are very good.
Roman definitely has a better look. Corbin is oddly proportioned and his gear doesn't help.
Corbin is currently far more compelling than Reigns. That's fixable.
All things being equal, if you put them both in a high level position as a heel, I think Baron Corbin would come off as a cheap imitation of Roman Reigns.

Corbin has improved in the ring but there still aways to go for him. He Vince's classic heel but unlike Braun Strowman he'll have an easier time getting over.

Also Roman isn't all that big. The combat vest bulks him up.

Like everyone has said, Corbin Is what roman should be character wise at least. He could be a good main rostetheel but if they ever turn him face it'll be the end of him.

Corbin is more talented in the ring and on the mic than Reigns plus I'm a fan of his "Indy darling killer" gimmick.

psh I'd much rather have Corbin than reigns. Basically what everyone said, Corbin is what Reigns should be.

I'm not a guy who poops on everything Reigns does, but am more of a fan of Corbin.
Baron Corbin has a much more interesting, distinct character, instead of the One Man Shield that is Roman Reigns. Hopefully they don't push Corbin to the top immediately, but instead develop him with an Intercontinental Championship/U.S Championship or two.

The biggest difference is that Reigns was once massively over. Corbin has not had that as of yet. Could he get to that Reigns like level? Sure. Will he? Too early to tell.

No, because Baron is actually going to be pushed as a heel which is something he's good at... WWE refuses to accentuate the positives with Roman.
