I've seen people use Mod-Podge, which I used for a while, but it does leave a residue sometimes. Or you can use a spray-on sealer. Remember to choose matte, not glossy, unless you want your figure to shine.

I think acrylic is the only paint you should use? I disagree sealer isn't nessesary I don't seal my customs cause they're just on a shelf not moving. But if you're gonna be using the figures or posing them then Yeh you need to seal em too.

I use Tamyia Colour Acrylic on mine and it seems to do the job

yes, only use acrylic. you dont need a sealer unless your play with them and are rough.
