By the time Sasha's elite comes out for retail, we still won't get it. We will still have way too many Elite 38 and 39 figures scattered around at Walmart and Toys R Us stores. Unless WM does something like a $10 Elite sale, I'm afraid E38 and 39 will clog the shelves forever They have become Ryback/Jinder status. Lol they haven't quite reached Ryback/Jinder status. I still see those ers at one of the Walmart's I frequent. They're super annoying though. I gave TRU one more chance and they kinda, sorta came through. I hadn't seen the WM Seth Rollins yet nor the best of the Network figs but I stumbled upon them yesterday. They also expanded to two end displays instead of one. Granted one was filled with the garbage I mentioned last time I was there but they actually had something I wanted so I can't complain too much about it.

Went to a TRU today and they had a case of Rollins, B57 Rowan, DM Sting and tons of Network figures along with some plush toys. Was hoping to find B60 since ARUN found Rollins not too long ago.

Basic Series 59 has hit Hamilton. The Wal Mart on centennial only had R-Truth and Sheamus left. (I picked up both) bit of an update to this post. Cena and Wyatt from this set are on upper James but this is all. Found a Finn Balor chase figure though, so not a total loss.

I don't understand why both TRU and WM decided to stock the same elite series and to order in tons of both E38 & E39?! TRU should have skipped E38 and went to E39, there are twice as many Wal-Mart's (probably more) than there are TRU's so odds are people are going to have no problem finding these series at WM. TRU IMO should stock a different series than what Walmart is carrying, this would allow for more even distribution and continual supply of new product. Now we have a big mess, both stores carrying the same series and both stores overflowing with stock from both sets that they haven't sold which is preventing new stock from coming in. The TRU's I have been to are all loaded with DM Sting so I don't think you will be seeing any more DM figures at TRU- at least not any time soon. I don't understand why these dumb a$$es don't start putting some of this stuff on clearance, TRU has had 2 sales since Christmas but nothing much has sold at my nearest TRU. Walmart, on the other hand, has not had ANY sale- I don't get the logic here, how long are they going to keep product on the shelf that isn't selling?!
I am starting to become pessimistic like others on here who doubt we will ever see E40 or even any series after that. This sucks, it looks like I am going to have to find another way to get the E40 Rick Rude figure, hopefully the dollar inches its way up past the 80 cent mark so I can order it from the USA as right now with the exchange rate and shipping it will cost too much.

I don't think WM or TRU decide what gets distributed to them. My guess is that WM ordered a bunch of Elite collection assortments and Mattel probably only had E39. Most TRUs I've been to only had a case or so and some didn't even get them. I like how, somehow they always receive the worse selling sets. If E38 & 39 had been say E37, more of them would have been sold.

Ziggler, Sting, Mizdow, Sid, Bulldog and Godfather. My only problem with it, is that they should have made two Ziggler's per box and one Sid figure, instead of two Sid's and one Ziggler.

Ya but only Bulldog and Sting sold okay. Even when the set first came out, everyone but those 2 were on the shelves a lot. Mizdow wasn't a thing anymore, Ziggler has old attire, Godfather and Sid, not too many people cared about.

I never thought I would see the day when e39( which is a great set in my opinion) , Bella battle packs, Rollins and network exclusives and DM Stings are Shelfwarming. Wow It's not even that we got over stocked on things (which yes, we did) but its more so the fact parents don't want to pay the high price money that these WWE figures are going for in stores right now. The majority of kids have parents who are probably making minimum wage if not a bit more, and have all these bills to pay. They really don't wanna spend $29.99 plus tax for some Elite wrestling figure. The basics are like $15.92 plus tax, which comes out to like $18. Again, no parent wants to pay that for a toy wrestling figure. Back in the late 90s, BCA figures by Jakks were selling for $5.99 or $6.99. You could take $25 out with ya and come back with 3 or 4 new wrestling figures. You take $25 out now, you can come back with one basic, and maybe one elite if they are $22.99. Even in the late 2000s, with the Jakks RA figures, they were like $8.99 or $9.99 a figure. Still much cheaper, so they would get bought up faster. Us collectors can only do so much to get figures off the shelves. Once we bought the ones we want, the rest sit there until another collector buys, or until a parent actually buys a figure for their child. If it doesn't happen, the figures sit. Like we are seeing now at this moment.

Its true tho. I even tweeted jeremy from wct last night n asked him if he thinks if jakks held the licence if we'd be seeing these ridiculous prices today.

^^ while i agree with you regarding high prices for wrestling figures these days..when you compare them to the LJN prices and minimum wage from 1984, its not that bad..
original release price for LJN's in Canada were $12.99....minimum wage (ontario) when LJN's came out was $3.85...after taxes, it takes almost 4 hours of work at minimum wage to afford ONE LJN figure..
with current minimum wage at $11.25, this would make a Mattel basic cost 1.5 hours of work and an elite about 2.5 hours of work... so all things considered, it is actually cheaper to be a collector now than it was during the LJN era (obviously not taking into account the amount of figured released now, which is insane)

Just scored elite Balor and mania Brock elite for 19.99 on Amazon!!!! Paid not a few bucks more than retail but once you factor in gas money and the lack of new elites to Canada it's a pretty good deal.

I actually wanted to order a few days ago but Finn was out of stock again when I checked back. The next time Finn is available I'll place an order.
