I heard rumors that the next WWE PPV that the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri will be the Hell In A Cell PPV on Sunday, October 30th, 2016 (this has not been confirmed, however) as I expect the WWE to make the announcement on the May 2nd, 2016 episode of RAW. Should it happen, then this would be the fifth year that STL has hosted a WWE PPV as well as RAW 1000. Thoughts?

Im on mobile so I don't know who created the thread.
Saw st. Louis and a ppv . Knew it was CRD.
My thoughts..... that your gimmick needs a reset button. This one is as stale as cena.

St. Louis is a great wrestling town. Fandom runs deep. I'm glad we get a lot of shows... but I'm waiting for 'Mania or Summerslam, something like that. Vince forced the owners of the Kiel Center to sign an exclusive contract in the early 90's to keep WCW out. I'm assuming it transferred to each new owner because we didn't get WCW shows until they built that stadium for the Rams. I'm not sure what they're calling the Kiel Center these days, but it's nowhere near big enough for WrestleMania.

WWE seems to have locked down its favorite cities for major events. They're barely deviating at this point.

WWE seems to have locked down its favorite cities for major events. They're barely deviating at this point. I know. Chicago almost always gets Payback as well as cities like Boston, Los Angeles and the New York City area have also hosted a PPV every year (though I don't see LA getting one in 2016 but I do think the 2017 Royal Rumble is a huge possibility. The reason why LA doesn't hosted Survivor Series these days is because of the American Music Awards which takes place on the same day as the Survivor Series).

WWE might have to stay exclusive to Kiel. Either way, I doubt Busch is big enough too. Maybe when they finish the new football/soccer/? stadium?

Busch holds 47,000, and that's without a baseball field's worth of floor seats... I don't know, I've just always imagined a stage with the Arch/Capitol building in the background. A new football stadium isn't happening, , and the soccer stadium would hold less that Busch. The Dome is still there, and holds a lot... but man, it's ugly. Yeah I think if we were going to get a WrestleMania it would have had to happen a few years ago. It's too big now
