Meltz notes that The Bullet Club is used in America and Japan, with it obviously being used in NJPW but furthermore in GFW and Ring of Honor in the states. If WWE tried to buy the rights or get away with a similar way of spelling (or using 'hashtag bullet club) it's probably not going down that way.

It just goes to show that Vince McMahon and the WWE is becoming Eric Bischoff and WCW of 20 years ago.
We can't make a cool concept, so we will just steal it from another organization.

I think they just need to run with BulletProof if they are going that route. It's something they can market and get away with.

I don't know what's wrong with me... I don't know why they wouldn't just go with Bulletproof. It's an equally good name that allows them to use all the same kinds of branding. Why even flirt with the idea? The number of people who will know Bulletproof over Bullet Club would be double in about two months. This is that Finn Balor vs Prince Devitt conversation Sam Roberts has with himself. You think something is big until WWE gets their hands on it and then you find out how much bigger it can become. This isn't an NWO type of deal where you have 7-8 million people watching the faction each week. WWE can steal it and make it what they want. Seems unnecessary, but kind of falls in line with letting Styles keep his name and capitalizing on fundamental star power in guys like Roode, Aries and Joe. So who the hell knows.

Naming anything with a hashtag in front of it makes me want to hang myself.

Naming anything with a hashtag in front of it makes me want to hang myself. Basically this. They should just call it Bulletproof.

Bulletproof is a way of describing something, not a name for something. Why not go away from the name Bullet and go with something else?

Wrong, they are calling him the Red Dragon, the tag team is reDRagon. Yes it is pronounced the same, but it has nothing to do with the tag team. Red Dragon is a Thomas Harris novel, the first in the Hannibal Lector series, which in of itself is a character within the series. That character is directly based off The Great Red Dragon Paintings by William Blake. They gave Slater the nickname because his character is supposed to think he is intimidating, not to use reDRagon's very marginal success.

If one wanted to split hairs, technically Roman's vest is a modified tactical vest and is most likely not bulletproof.

In this thread about the Bullet Club they stand out as an example of greatness.
