Have any of you ever price matched amazon at TRU? If so how did it go? Also would I be able to price match this for any elite figure at TRU? WWE Elite Figure

Sometimes they try and tell me I have to pay for shipping costs (even though item isn't being shipped) because Amazon prices only count if you spent 35 and up
I tell them to that that, turn it sideways, and stick it straight up [bleeped out because my warning bar already is 100% and I like this place]
If they tell you you have to spent $35 to get the deal just fight it until they get tired, works every time

Wait, what? That's only if the item is listed as an add-on item, otherwise, whatever the price is...that's what you pay.
I feel like the people working at your TRU don't know how the internet works.
To the OP, I've price matched Amazon at TRU several times, and have never had an issue.

There aren't any Elite Balor listings at less than 30 on Amazon right now. They probably won't let you use the Adam Rose ad for a Finn Balor figure since it straight up states that that price is for the Adam Rose figure.

I've done it three different ways.
I've had them look it up on their computer at the service desk, I've used my phone and brought the ad up, and I've also printed the ad out and taken it in.

They might look it up on the front desk computer anyway, just to be sure you didn't take the screen cap like a month ago, but it should work.
Like I said before though, they most likely won't let you use the Adam Rose ad for Finn Balor, and besides...you don't want to be THAT guy. I'm not saying you are...but I will always caution everyone to be forthright and honest in any dealings they may have.

TheLastDude What exactly do I need to show the employee? The only Balor on Amazon are from RSC and are $32. So you can't price match that. Now if your TRU had a DM Austin you could get the DM Austin for $18 as Amazon is selling that for $18. Besides it having to be the same exact item that is pictured it also has to be sold from Amazon. Meaning if it is a third party selling through Amazon they won't match it. They will only price match items that are sold and fulfilled by Amazon. |

Maybe if the .com site can display in uk currency instead of $ it may work, I know on eBay it translates $$$ to £££ |

It has to be sold directly from Amazon not w third party seller. I have even had TRU match prices from Amazon on subscriptions too. If u subscribe to something on Amazon and have it send every month (diapers, formula) it's cheaper. You may have to argue a bit, you may not who knows, but in the end you should be able to match everything.
