Yes! This is awesome. If Finn is really hurt i wish him a speedy recovery. But, if it was just part of the match, and he is not injured, then maybe its a sign that he is being called up soon, my money is on payback and he interferes in the Styles/Roman matched.
But Yes for Joe, about time he was champ.

Finn is not hurt. Bowed to the crowd afterward. Wonder who is gonna be Gallows & Anderson's third man?

I don't really get the whole "more people should see it" argument. It's awesome for Joe either way, I'm sure it was awesome and unexpected for the live crowd. Joe deserves it, I'm glad he's the one Finn dropped it to. Now we will just have to see if it does mean Finn is heading to the main roster.

Super happy for Joe. All those years of hard work have finally paid off and culminated in this. It's awesome to see a guy I've followed on and off since 2005 win a major championship in the WWE. Pretty crazy that it happened at a house show though. Either way, happy for Joe, and looking forward to what's next for Finn.

Wow. I'm thinking this all but confirms they're going to go with Balor Club and possibly an AJ Styles vs Finn Balor programme, but I'm still unsure as to why this has only gone down now at a house show and didn't happen at Takeover in Dallas? Maybe it was to prevent false hope of them appearing on Raw the night after Mania, although there's no reason Anderson & Gallows couldn't have. As much as I'd hate to see this rushed and just have AJ Styles vs Finn Balor at Extreme Rules (which in all honesty should be a Summerslam or Wrestlemania feud), I'm simply at the point now where if they are going to do it, just do it as it would be way more interesting than anything else they have going on right now.
Payback suddenly has huge potential now. Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn, Chris Jericho vs Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns vs AJ Styles with Finn Balor & Bullet Club looming.
It would also confirm while we're yet to have Anderson & Gallows named as anything, and why they have only worn generic T Shirts rather than Bullet Club gear. I guess they are saving it all for the Balor Club Brand. Personally though, I'd say AJ needs Bullet Club way more than Balor does, the demon brand is strong enough as it is for Balor. Plus, a Heel AJ in Bullet Club could be a great way to ultimately bring in Finn Balor around Summerslam time, and feud as he was the past leader etc.

Would've been nice to see it, but oh well.

It's easier to swerve people with an injury.. I agree that him also dropping the title in the exact same match he gets injured in being a tad fishy.. They wouldn't call that on the fly due to injury..
Injury is playing up him not being well for some odd reason.

Major titles, not frequently. Unless the Divas changed, I don't think since Cade and Murdoch dropped the tag titles. Could have been one or two other changes but not too many, that's the last one I think of. the most recent i remember was when kifi and Evan lost the tag titles to primo and epic i a few years ago. Yeah I was at that show.

They need to do stuff like that more often. I'n not talking about the WWE Championship changing hands at every second house show, but some unexpected title changes are what keeps the product fresh! The ''you never know what's gonna happen'' mentality is what makes things interesting in this industry.
I hope Finn is okay, but as others have said, they wouldn't call a title change on the fly, let alone a title like that. I'm happy for Joe cause he has been killing it since he arrived in NXT!
This builds up even more Balor/Bullet Club speculations, so I'd say it was a win/win situation for everybody involved.

They have the NXT TV stage in Lowell. Hopefully now this is an episode!

They have the NXT TV stage in Lowell. Hopefully now this is an episode! I'd be for that. I mean the entire card seemed pretty great although they would probably have to pick only 2-3 matches to show from it if they even did this (which I doubt).

Ugh.
Joe is a channel changer for me. So boring.
Hopefully Finn isn't injured and is just going to appear on Raw with Gallows/Anderson having their debut.

Why are people so against the Bullet Club being in WWE? Because Bullet Club angle is as overdone as the nWo angle was.

I do hope something comes from this. But I seriously cannot see the "Balor Club" happening on RAW.
Finn is the face of NXT, and one of the most over babyfaces WWE have at the moment. Bringing him up as a heel to align with 2 more heels to feud with AJ would undo over 15 months of hard development work they've put into Finn.
Alternatively, you bring up Finn and turn AJ heel, that will undo all the hard work they've done in short time positioning AJ as a main event babyface.
If the "Balor Club" doesn't happen, fans need to take this into account before they complain about it. Id sooner we didn't have a BC Rip off, and instead we got AJ and Finn as 2 solo babyfaces.
So that when they do eventually clash, the match between AJ and Balor can be built around 2 talented guys with similar backgrounds, battling to see who's the better man.. Instead of basing the feud around a novelty quick fix such as a Bullet Club re-run which would contradict their characters, and have a short shelf life.
It's all common sense really. Make 2 stars instead of using one to highlight the other.

Not looking forward to Balor coming up, the guy bores the hell out of me You're not the only one. Same here. He really has no verbal charisma and aside from the paint, is pretty bland. I am also super tired of people using "stomps" as finishing and signature moves.
