I tried to figure out last night but couldn't how long after the release of the first series was it that jakks released the monster ring and then the first attitude or hardcore ring? Looking back it seems like quite a long time, years perhaps.

I tried to figure out last night but couldn't how long after the release of the first series was it that jakks released the monster ring and then the first attitude or hardcore ring? Looking back it seems like quite a long time, years perhaps. The first series of Jakks figures, Superstars Series 1, was released to stores in June 1996. It was about four or five months later (October/November 1996) that the original Jakks Monster Ring showed up in stores. Fast forward a year later (October/November 1997) and the repainted Raw Is War Monster Ring would become available. Same deal for the Attitude Ring; it would take another year (October/November 1998) for Jakks to release their new ring made exclusively for BCA figures. I'm not as familiar with the post-BCA era of Jakks figures, but I'm fairly certain that the Attitude Ring was re-issued with new stickers in October 2000, then the Hardcore Ring (a modified Attitude Ring) was released sometime in December 2000.

Yes, thank you. I forgot about the red white n blue monster ring being released first because i never saw it in stores. I got the black one for xmas, so that would make sense as to the timeframe it came out. I knew it was a good few years before we got a ring made for themm cheers.

I loved that Raw Monster Ring. Tons of good memories that I will never forget.

I remember having the first monster ring and wondering why it was so big, found out later it was the LJN ring rebranded

i remember i bought the attitude era cage that could turn into a briefcase with the cage and catapult accessories. due to a combination of the cage seeming weak and wouldn't stay on, and that i legitimately could not switch over to such a smaller ring after using the oversized monster ring for bcas for a year or so before that, i decided to bring it back.
