I applaud Eva Marie for wanting to be more than just a pretty face. I don't even mind her on Total Divas. She seems like a decent person, and she's certainly beautiful.
But I've never seen someone look so afraid in front of the camera, especially someone who comes off quite comfortable on Total Divas. She has a deer in the headlights look to everything she does, be it walking to the ring, cutting a promo, or working a match. It's hard to even explain, but it's almost as though she doesn't believe in herself or her character, and it shows.
And that's a shame, because I think she has potential to be a great manager, if only she could get more comfortable and not look so lost.
She's still pretty terrible in the ring, but that's fine. I don't think she has a place in this new women's division as a wrestler. Not without greatly undermining its credibility. She's far better suited for a non wrestling role.

When I first saw her, I was all for her since she was hot. Had a great ass. I didn't expect her to be a great wrestler so I knew there'd be room for improvement. She's improved a good deal since she started, as far as I'm concerned. She still has a long way to go but that could be said about lots of talent. She has heat with a lot of the crowd but it's become a split as of lately based off what I've seen.
I would call myself a fan. I have nothing against the woman. I like the hair.
Did I mention she has a great ass?

Probably a lot were too timid to really say anything in other threads out of the unwarranted hate they would get for liking Eva Marie. Look at Trish Stratus when she first came in. She wasn't very good at all. Then over time, she became THE diva in that division during the RA era. I am not saying Eva will be as good as Trish, but there is always gonna be room for improvement as each match goes on, and I think it already is proven she can improve. Compared to her stuff from a year ago, or even two years ago. |
