She would have likely been in the doghouse had she stayed anyway.

She is clearly standing by her man. Gotta give her credit for that. Not much of that with this generation.

Well, this sucks. First Sandow was released and now Cody asked for his release. There was two totally misused talents.

Eden leaving is a given.
I wonder if they will start a family soon?

Sad, she's a great ring announcer.

She was really hot but WWE isn't really losing much. There's only like 75 ring announcers in the company.
Good for her sticking by Cody though. And she did it in a professional way too, working through Extreme Rules.

I think some people here must have selective memory. Cody was a good hand, and a really good wrestler but that's just about it. Unless he was playing some oddball character, he was a charisma vacuum. Hell, Stardust was the first interesting thing he'd done in about 5 years.
And the idea of him being a top star now, or some people even suggested 15 or 20 years ago is laughable. In an era when the talent pool was so thick that the likes of Randy Savage, Scott Hall, Davey Boy Smith etc were mid-carders, Cody Rhodes would not have been a main eventer.
He was a jobber to the stars, and that's ok. He did his job well. He's not Punk, he's not Hogan, he's not Austin, he's not Bret Hart, he's not Cena.
He's Cody Rhodes.
It's not as if he was SO good as a wrestler that he had to be pushed on that merit like Bryan or Styles.

He was the most over guy on the roster not named Daniel Bryan. He really should've been WHC then.

Even before that, in 2011, Grotesque Cody Rhodes was the best thing on Smackdown and they could have built a great story around him and a babyface Randy Orton for the WHC.

But comparng his popularity to Bryan's is again, a complete joke. People liked Cody, and he was a good wrestler. That's it.

I also heard rumors that WWE wanted Cody Rhodes to dye his hair platinum blond as well, Thoughts?
