Things like this are too common, and there's nothing we can do about it.

I saw 2 Razor DMs at a Walmart yesterday belt-less. There may not be anything WE can do about it, but stores can sure tighten up their security. I don't how, but I have to imagine it can be done. Honestly, maybe they need to start putting Elites with accessories into security boxes. I know it sounds crazy, but it's either that, or the stores keep having this happen and possibly lose interest in continuing to carry them.

Welllll I don't blame them. Are cameras just there for show? Heck I could go into target open up HOF 3 Ted and take the million dollar belt and they won't suspect a thing

Know what would be sweet? Those old plastic boxes that they used to put Marvel Legends in. That would put a stop to some of this mess. Of course you need a saws all to get them open.

Is it me or are wwe figures fall victim to this more than other lines? Did this happen during the jakks era? Btw sorry you didn't get the Zayn fig. Good luck trying to find it in the future.

Admittedly I did this when I was about 13 about a decade ago and got my ass whooooooped upon getting picked up from the police station by my father You can bet I never did that again. I do remember it was a Jeff Hardy Jakks RA figure. Such a dumb kid I was.

I saw these lock boxes at a TRU the other day. Seemed a bit strange, but I can see how they would help.

These theives are everywhere though, here in the UK, I got Zayn, the day it hit retail, I've seen 4 since (different times) all beltless Best 1 I saw was someone had stole an entire elite 38 macho man figure, but left the acsessories lol

That is seriously such a bummer. What if Mattel started tying the belts to the cardboard with those silver twisty ties? I'm trying to think of an example. Some toys / electronics use them. It would make it a lot harder to steal them..

They're called long boxes, just like what you may see on movies and CDs in music stores. I don't think you need to do this to every figure, but rather just the ones with non-figure specific accessories like belts. Although since stores won't know that, to be in the safe side, long box them all just like this.

Even with those protective boxes, thieves would still find a way (such as swapping and then returning for example).
The persistence of these pieces of **** never ceases to amaze me. If only they could channel a quarter of that effort into being productive in society, then maybe they could actually get a job and afford to buy those figures legally as opposed to constantly renewing their membership to being the underbelly of society.

I do not steal belts, but can you really blame them ? The belts can sell for more than the retail figure and belt. So its pure money for those sneaky enough to do it.
Also mattel does nothing about it aka selling elite belt sets even though people have asked many times.
Retail stores don't bother either with there barely working cameras or non-existent cameras that are just for show.
Unless someone working at the store catches the person red handed, not much can be done.
Also at wal-mart stores a manager has to catch the person in the act of stealing to take any action. So most wal-mart hourly workers don't even bother.
Mattel, Retail, etc all turn a blind eye to this. Then they wonder why people steal so much stuff...

Can't really blame them, Idiots gonna idiot. There are typically zero cameras in the toy sections at my retail stores especially Walmart. On top of that mattel boxes are easy to open. Not to mention the insane mark up on these belts from these sellers on eBay. I don't promote stealing by any means though.
