People being taken out is such a non-issue. Since the game doesn't have heavy graphic/game engine updates I can probably just add back in anyone taken out like could be done for 2k16. Provided there are available slots. Also provided we get a PC port again

Before we all start making decisions to write off the game, remember that we are guessing based on the presumption that IGN made that mistake. Let's just wait out the rest of the 5 weeks. However, if they didn't get Angle for the Showcase, that is very disappointing as he was the most integral feud in Lesnar's first run.

If Angle ain't in, this will probably be the worst Showcase Mode we've ever got in terms of Content (not counting the Mini DLC Showcases).

If they're doing a Brock showcase, they can't do it without Angle. I don't see any reason why he wouldn't be in since he's not with TNA anymore and seems like a guy who would jump at the chance to be involved with WWE again

Although its true they don't NEED Angle in a Brock Showcase, he would be one of the bigger omissions. Hogan (who I'm also dying to have back in a game), not so much, but that was arguably his most important match before the Rock besides maybe RVD at KOTR.

They almost had Owen last year, but Martha eventually stuck to her guns. Angle has been adamant about wanting to be back. And Owen missing last year isn't nearly as much of a hit as Angle would be. Not having Angle this year would be equivalent to them not having Bret last year. |

So even with this supposed list going around is it still the biggest roster ever even from last year? Just seems kind of smaller to me but maybe I'm wrong but descriptions on GameStop's website twice claim that this 2K17 was going to have the biggest roster ever. Sorry I throw gasoline on the Fire. I mean don't they get their description directly from 2K?
Edit: I cannot seem to find it on their mobile site but I was on the PC when I found this it was under something like why we are excited

I was more just listing for the attires. Im pretty sure Angle wore the same attire for the Iron Man match that he did at Summerslam. But yeah the Iron Man match would be fun to include. |

Because what happened with RVD was totally opposite of Kurt Angle's situation, RVD made his TNA debut in March 2010, he was a free agent during most of SVR 2011's development time. Kurt Angle was still under TNA contract during most of this game's development, and before you bring up Hogan in WWE 2K14, he had a special contract that let him lend his likeness to other brands without needing TNA's consent. |
