I feel like Nakamura is gonna be in the base game at launch and not exclusive to the NXT Edition. There's no way they'd let him be playable in the build the superstars are playing otherwise. Maybe it just unlocks him on day one so you don't gotta play career mode? I dunno, maybe I'm being wishful.

The101 on YouTube said something about a table in in the crowd that could only be broken with specific moves, so that could mean it could have a clean break maybe? Could anyone confirm anything about tables?

It really is incredible. So many guys that have just been CAWs for me for so long are officially in game. If A Double makes it in I will lose it. Bobby Roode would be icing lol. Perfect timing I guess to mention this now...I was literally just watching this week in wwe on the network and spotted this poster...now idk if it means much but it was during the making of Brock's 2k17 commercial...here take a look Balor/Aries vs Corbin/Dillinger (thought Dillinger was Punk or Mero at first lol) hopefully this means they're in...guess we gotta wait and see It was probably just hanging in their office. They sell posters like that at the NXT live event shows.

I think it's safe to say all of the main nxt stars are in the game. Aries, Dillinger, mojo sadly, the mechanics, AA, etc. I'm more concerned about the dlc packs, who would they put in from nxt? Roode, maybe Ember Moon, and idk who else

No I think he'll be exculsive until whenever the pack is available to everyone for a small fee. And for SvR2011, I'm pretty sure Bret Hart was in the Build they had at Summerslam weekend but he was a DLC character too.

Sucks that women can't do backstage matches in 2k17.

www.gamesradar.com/11-things-we-learned-going-hands-on-with-wwe-2k17/?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=grtwProbably the best article that sums up most of the stuff from the event last night. Most of it was already mentioned here though. Things that haven't really been mentioned here are: - AJ has the Spiral Tap - When you select Superstars on the Selection Screen, Lillian Garcia announces their name - There are several new Abilities (most of which relate to Backstage Brawling) - Two New Skills (Brawl and Staredown) - Readings in the description for the Staredown Skill refer to "Nodes" during Promos, hinting that there's some type of scoring system in Promos perhaps - You can have Two Ringside Signatures and Two Ringside Finishers that are separate from Normal Sigs/Finishers. And like the post above, apparently Females won't be able to Fight Backstage (which is odd seeing how they can on Last Gen and in any other WWE Game that has Backstage Fighting). Also the A.I can now do Breakouts.

Man I can't wait to see more of backstage and crowd brawl. The promo system sounds really interesting, I wonder if it's fully voice over? Surely not for universe mode. Hopefully it's not a repetitive and flat cutscene like the Rene Young interviews in 2k16.

Am I the only one would would like them to change the physics for the announce tables and regular tables? I liked being able to clime on top of both freely as well as roll my opponent on. I liked the idea of having to use an OMG moment for the table to break. I think it'd be cool to be able to brawl on it and do a few small grapples without breaking. Then whenever you have a finisher stored you can put them through it with a move or a jump.

I feel like tables should get their own animations with specific moves, lean them against one, and then press up,left, right, or left plus A/X to slam them through. Each one should have a specific break point, near the edge, or straight on the middle, OMG moments could be used for table finishers.

I've come to the conclusion - since 2K17 has Mr. Perfect announced as on-disc - that if we get Ric Flair and Roddy Piper as well (preferably 80s-early 90s versions), then I will definitely get this game.

I was trying to think of a reason why Women can't fight backstage but maybe it's because the animations don't fit them or something.
I can't see it being a thing they did just because or WWE would demand it, seeing how they could fight backstage in pretty much every other game including the Last Gen games.

Along with new cut-scenes and the promo engine, show intros are apparently back in Universe mode.

I hope that match highlight reel are available anytime during a match and not just when the match finishes the game chooses certain moments for you.
