SmackTalks confirmed that you can not only fight in that little crowd area, but also behind the crowd and all the way up to the Stage where you can dive off the side of the stage or ramp.  Oh my goodness, it's shaping up to be a excellent game |

Oh man, brawls are sounding better and better ever time I hear about them. They're such an awesome surprise addition to the game and they sound amazing, I would have been happy with just one area to fight in but they've allowed more freedom and that is great.
I can't wait to play Ladder matches also, they're so bad in 2k16. I hope weapons overall have improved too as they feel too light and things like tables are way too fragile as they just collapse if touched. SVR 2011 had weapon physics down almost perfectly, so hopefully they can return to that feel where weapons won't just slide away from the action and you can use them to inflict actual damage with moves on top of them.

Luke Harper might get the title though. Del Rio will be the king of his brand, and Andre will likely be the classic Universe champion...unless the Hogan shocker happens. |

I think I'm gonna make a second profile on my PS4 so I can run two Universe Modes.
One will be WWE and NXT, the other will be an ROH/NJPW/Indies Universe. I did one in 2k14 and it was a lot of fun, and now a few years later with even better game play and hopefully an improved Universe it should be awesome.
Also, it's freaking awesome how many of the guys I had in that Universe are actually in the game now. AJ, Nakamura, Balor, Owens, Hideo, and so on.

You have some odd choices for top guys lol. I'm a fan of Harper and Del Rio too. But they're in the middle of a STACKED roster for me. Harper is definitely going to be upper mid-card for me though. That dude is so fun to play as in these games. I might like Del Rio more in this game if his move-set is updated. He had some really bad move sets in the last few games. |

Harper has actually been getting a slow push over the past two games for me. He finally got the IC belt in 2k16, but he's one of my favorites in wrestling, and in the games. I love his new taunts last year. But to explain why he would be a top guy, I've had this vision of Harper breaking away from Bray and becoming something of this monster anarchist, pushed like Strowman, only mobile. That's why I miss Story Designer. I guess that's the beauty of Universe, you can make anyone a star. |

Interesting to note that the Lex Express indicates we're getting the Made in the USA Lex Luger.
I wonder if they're sprucing up many of the returning legends as it appears we're not getting any new ones (unless by some miracle those checkers are for Koko B Ware, or the Sparky Plugg is for Bob Holly, two things that are extremely unlikely). Razor, Diesel, USA Lex, NAO Billy (maybe). Hopefully other legends also get new attires.

I sure hope that signifies Piper. I mean, comparatively he'd be a pretty big legend to remove, and he only made it back last year. I'd be a lot more comfortable if his was something more obvious than an engine. I'm sad about Haku, and to a lesser extent Batista.
