When I used to work at Kmart (around 98) we had small figures who came with "fantasy" style rings, such as a ladder match ring with ladders and platforms, more akin to Super Smash Bros then something you'd ever actually see on Raw. These weren't the 6 packs with a ring, these were two guys and a ring, and IIRC they had 2 packs of just figures as well. They were stylized, kind of like Mattel's "Rumblers." I remember Austin (of course),and I think Jericho and Jarrett. Anyone remember what these were called or have any pics?

Not Jakks. Believe they are called micro bendems. Try the Other Brands thread.

Found some pics of the ones I believe you're talking about, I had the Austin/Taker/X-Pac/Billy Gunn set as a kid. Not sure if there were more than these, but I seems the line was called Brawl 4 All according to most of the box art. This is the one I had as a kid:

Anyone remember the weird ladder/scaffold match ring or did I imagine it? It wasn't like a real ladder match,it was like a mortal Kombat stage or something.

Those sets were cool as hell. I got the Inferno Match and Buried Alive sets for Christmas in 2000.
Before that my first ever wrestling figures was the WrestleMania mini ring set that came with 6 figures, I don't even remember how I got them. Yhen at Christmas in 1998 I got the Raw Is War and Royal Rumble sets. The Raw Is War set was my absolute favourite. I remember counting the days to Christmas for about 2 months, dying for the day to come where I finally got the set. I'll never forget the feeling of happiness and excitement when that Christmas morning finally came.

I never bought any, I was too big into BCAs at the time, but I do remember seeing them at my local Walmart store.

I found an old thread that calls the figures I'm looking for "slammers" but all I can find online is a series of 5 inch figures called Slammers.
These have to be later then the playmates ones because I swear I remember a Jericho and maybe a Jarrett?

Slammers were a brief line that used the Brawl-4-All (see above post) bodies and accessories with real-scan heads. I think they only made Jericho, Austin, and Rock. They came single carded though, not with rings or 2 packs with videos like the earlier B4A figs.
